If you've been on my page for a while, you might have seen me post about Rural Rising Philippines before. They help our local farmers create a sustainable livelihood by bringing their fruits and vegetables directly to consumers. With the recent earthquakes that happened to our fellow Filipinos in Cebu and Davao, they are stepping in to help.

All the proceeds from this round of "Box-All-You-Can" (BAYC) go to our countrymen in Cebu and Davao affected by the recent earthquakes.

It's days like these where I wonder if I've made any difference. The beginning of the year felt painfully slow and now I feel like I'm being catapulted into 2026 without any buff or equipment. But hey, we press on and we document what we can and maybe that will help quiet the voices of doubt in my head.

One of my unplanned stops from this trip.

I’m always amazed at how many coffee nerds I meet are always excited to share other places with exquisite coffee. A barista we met in Taichung recommended this place in the middle of blooming the second cup we ordered.

Spent an entire afternoon sipping coffee, using the light drizzle as an excuse not to go.

Was only planning to get 1 bag but the mug was free when if I got 3 soooo according to coffee math, it’s the better purchase? 🤣🫠

VWI by Chad Wang is a cozy little cafe in the eastern district of Taipei.
