📍Sipaway Island

Dear Diary,
Since my first visit to the island five years ago, I have been completely enamored with its beauty. Since it was still being built when we went, I can't recall the name of the resort where we stayed. We bring a tent and simply set up camp there, but an unexpected event occurs when a torrential downpour hits us in the middle of the night. Thankfully, everyone is unharmed. The following morning, we visited the beach bar and lingered there briefly to enjoy it before leaving the island and returning home

With about 7 kilometers in length and 1.5 kilometers in width, Sipaway Island is hardly what one would describe as "massive." Anyone could travel the entire length and breadth of the island in less than a day. For people who have lived in cities, the island almost serves as a remote haven because it is so far from the clamor and bustle that characterize the city. Even though it was only recently developed thanks to the nearby city of San Carlos, the island today has a reliable 24-hour electrical supply that provides light for its residents and clean drinking water that primarily comes from a single source, making it a public utility.

📍Guimaras - Manggahan Festival

Dear Diary,
I would definitely go back to Guimaras if given the chance to do so. One of the nicest places I've visited so far. I wish to relive the warm smiles of the locals, the serene sea breeze, the amazing historical sites and landmarks, and the crystal clear beache. In Guimaras, there are many interesting things to visit, like the "Manggahan Festival" and the majestic windmills that provide the island with electricity.

Guimaras is situated in southern Panay and north Negros. It was formerly managed as a part of the province of Iloilo and is close to the city of Iloilo, but it is now viewed as a separate province. The island is well known for its sweet mangoes, which are a major source of income for the majority of people. The Guimaras Manggahan Festival, one of the major celebrations in Guimaras, honors thankfulness for the bounties received on their island.

📍The Ruins

Dear Diary,
I don't know how many times I have been here in the ruins, but one thing for sure... it really caught my heart's attention due to its historical impact and its beauty. According to Rumi, "When there is ruin, there is hope for a treasure". Not all that has been ruined is useless. There are some that you will realize eventually that it has a great story to tell and memories that should be cherished.

The Ruins is a stunning old mansion that was formerly referred to as the Taj Mahal of the Philippines. It is located in Talisay, a small town outside of Bacolod City.Don Mariano Ledesma Lacson, a prosperous sugar baron, erected the grand home in 1920. As a sign of his devotion to his Portuguese bride, Cora Maria Osorio Rosa-Braga, he had it constructed.

Dear Diary,
These photos was taken many years ago, way back 2018. Now, there are a lot of cool activities that you can do and good spots to take some instagrammable photos. Campuestuhan Highland Resort is located at Sitio Campuestuhan, Barangay Cabatangan.

This day tour is all about a fun-packed experience at Campuestohan Highland Resort, located at the foot of Mt. Makawili right at the border of Bacolod City and Talisay City. This themed amusement park has swimming pools, a wave pool with bubble machine, zip lines, sky bikes, and other facilities great for team-building activities or just casual fun among friends and family. All of these plus a year-round cool highland weather would make you not want to go back to reality! You also don't have to worry about getting hungry or bringing in your own food, as a restaurant specializing in delicious Filipino cuisine can also be found inside the resort.
