Every 8th of September, we honor the birthday of Mama Mary, the loving Mother of Jesus Christ. She is the true epitome of hope, resilience, and unwavering humility.

The SLRDA family celebrated the feast of Mama Mary with prayers, flowers, and simple offerings. With flowers in hand, Ruizians walked forward to present their gifts and whisper a silent prayer.

Mama Maryโ€”our life, our sweetness, and our hopeโ€”lifts us in times of chaos, guiding our prayers and leading us through the sorrowful mysteries for Godโ€™s people.

Prayer:
Hail, holy Queen, Mother of mercy, our life, our sweetness and our hope. To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve. To thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears. Turn, then, most gracious advocate, thine eyes of mercy toward us, and after this, our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus. O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary.

Pray for us, O holy Mother of God, that we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

On September 1 and 3, the Ruizian Martyrs proudly represented San Lorenzo Ruiz Diocesan Academy (SLRDA) in the San Leonardo District Athletic Meet 2025, competing across various sports categories.

The Martyrs showcased remarkable teamwork, determination, and sportsmanship as they battled in volleyball, basketball, badminton, billiards, chess, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), and table tennis.

The competition was fierce, with athletes from different schools in San Leonardo striving for victory. Cheers and applause from coaches and supporters fueled the Ruizian Martyrsโ€™ drive, pushing them to give their best in every game. Despite the challenges, the team remained focused and united with one missionโ€”bringing pride to SLRDA.

The school community extends heartfelt congratulations to the Ruizian Martyrs for the heart, discipline, and passion they displayed. Months of preparation and training truly paid off, proving that every ounce of hard work was worth it. Win or lose, the Martyrsโ€™ commitment has made the entire Ruizian family proud.

Fueled with determination and months of preparation, the Ruizian Martyrs of San Lorenzo Ruiz Diocesan Academy officially begin their quest for honor as the San Leonardo District Athletic Meet 2025 kicks off today, September 1, at San Leonardo, Nueva Ecija.

Ruizian athletes are ready to put their skills to the test in various sporting events. Carrying the values of discipline, perseverance, and teamwork, the team is determined to deliver strong performances and bring pride to their school community.

Ika-27 ng Agosto, ipinamalas ng mga mag-aaral ng San Lorenzo Ruiz Diocesan Academy ang kanilang husay at talento sa ibaโ€™t ibang patimpalak tulad ng katutubong sayaw, modernong pagtula, balagtasan, at dula-dulaan bilang bahagi ng pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika.

Sa kategoryang Katutubong Sayaw (Primary), itinanghal na kampeon ang ๐—ž๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ฑ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—ด๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ป sa kanilang pagtatanghal ng Itik-Itik laban sa Nursery hanggang Baitang 3. Samantala, nakuha ng ๐—•๐—ฎ๐—ถ๐˜๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ด ๐Ÿฒ ang unang parangal para sa Katutubong Sayaw (Intermediate) matapos ang kanilang pagtatanghal ng Pandanggo sa ilaw na nilahukan ng mga mag-aaral mula Baitang 4 hanggang Baitang 6.

Sa larangan ng Modernong Pagtula, nagwagi si ๐—ฌ๐˜‚๐—ธ๐—ถ๐—ฒ ๐—–๐—ฎ๐˜‚๐˜‡๐—ผ๐—ป mula sa Junior High School Department. Sa Balagtasan at Dula-dulaan itinanghal na panalo ang ๐—š๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐—ฑ๐—ฒ ๐Ÿญ๐Ÿญ ๐—ฆ๐—ง๐—˜๐—  ๐—ฎ๐˜ ๐—š๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐—ฑ๐—ฒ ๐Ÿญ๐Ÿญ ๐—”๐—•๐— .

Idinaos ang naturang pagdiriwang bilang bahagi ng taunang selebrasyon ng Buwan ng Wika na naglalayong mapalalim ang pagpapahalaga ng mga mag-aaral sa wikang Filipino at kulturang Pilipino.

Ginawaran din ng parangal sa koronasyon ng Lakan at Lakambini 2025 sina Fame Rhydian M. Fernandez (12 ABM) at Beatriz Nicole L. Vilar (11 STEM) bilang 1st Runner-Up.

Nakamit naman nina Cayleb Kross B. Librada (11 STEM) at Princess M. Sureta (10 San Mateo) ang titulong 2nd Runner-Up, habang itinanghal sina Benjamin F. Oliva III (12 STEM A) at Anna Leah M. Pestaรฑo (12 STEM B ) bilang 3rd Runner-Up.

Samantala, kinilala rin sina Shenron G. Diaz (12 STEM B )at Kristal May E. Fernandez (12 STEM A) bilang 4th Runner-Up sa nasabing patimpalak.

Kabilang sa mga espesyal na parangal ang Ginoong Makisig (Shenron Diaz), Binibining Marikit (Daniella Jalova), Pinakamahusay sa Production Number (Zaijian Antonino at Princess Sureta), Pinakamahusay sa Talento (Rheyvence Yacat at Kathleen Fajardo), at Pinakamahusay sa Kasuotan (Cayleb Kross Librada at Beatriz Nicole Vilar).

Higit pa sa mga parangal, ipinakita ng mga kalahok ang kanilang talento, galing, at pagmamahal sa wikang Filipino. Ang kanilang tagumpay ay sumasalamin sa tunay na diwa ng pagiging Pilipinoโ€”isang pusong nagmamahal, lumilikha, at nagmamalasakit sa sariling kultura at bayan.

The San Lorenzo Ruiz Diocesan Academy (SLRDA) proudly participated in the Interschool Folkdance and Festival Dance Competition held on August 23, 2025, at the San Leonardo Gymnasium as part of the Kalamay Festival celebration.

Students from both the Elementary and High School Departments of SLRDA joined the event, which showcased the creativity, dedication, and cultural pride of participating schools.

By the end of the evening, the SLRDA High School Department emerged as 1st Runner-Up, with a four-minute performance that combined vibrant choreography, teamwork, and school spirit.

The achievement was celebrated by the SLRDA community, with pride and joy expressed for the dancersโ€™ success. The school commended the participants for representing San Lorenzo Ruiz Diocesan Academy with excellence in this yearโ€™s Kalamay Festival competition.
