𝗜𝗻 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 2025 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 with the theme "𝘌𝘮𝘣𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘈𝘨𝘦, 𝘓𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢 𝘓𝘪𝘧𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘋𝘪𝘨𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘗𝘶𝘳𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘦," the 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗮𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗭𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀 successfully conducted a 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 for the elderly of 𝗕𝗿𝗴𝘆. 𝗥𝗶𝘇𝗮𝗹 𝗼𝗻 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 8, 2025.
‎
‎The event was graced by 𝙎𝘽𝙈 𝘿𝙧. 𝙀𝙖𝙧𝙡 𝙔𝙖𝙥, who also extended the invitation to our school representatives, and 𝘿𝙧. 𝙇𝙤𝙪𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙖 𝘼𝙦𝙪𝙞𝙣𝙤. It was spearheaded by
‎𝙉𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙚 𝘾𝙞𝙚𝙡𝙤 𝘾., the Municipal Health Nurse of San Marcelino, in partnership with the dedicated Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) from all barangays in the municipality.
‎
‎𝘽𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙮 𝘾𝙖𝙥𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙣 𝙍𝙚𝙭 𝙁𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙙𝙤 warmly welcomed everyone through his opening message, followed by an informative discussion from 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 representatives about their programs and healthcare benefits.

‎The highlight of the program was an educational talk from 𝙈𝙖'𝙖𝙢 𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙚, who served as the 𝘎𝘶𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘚𝘱𝘦𝘢𝘬𝘦𝘳, discussing healthy cooking techniques and the importance of proper nutrition among senior citizens, as shown in the presentation.

‎Student leaders from 𝐒𝐚𝐧 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐨 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥—representing 𝗕𝗞𝗗+, 𝗦𝗦𝗟𝗚, 𝗬𝗘𝗦-𝗢, 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯𝘀— also actively participated by assisting and guiding the elderly in availing healthcare services, helping with data encoding, and supporting medical practitioners throughout the event.
‎
‎This meaningful activity truly reflects the spirit of “𝐵𝑎𝑦𝑎𝑛𝑖ℎ𝑎𝑛” — uniting the LGU, health workers, and student volunteers in promoting the health, dignity, and well-being of our beloved elderly citizens.

‎I, 𝑱𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒂 𝑯. 𝑫𝒆𝒍𝒂 𝑷𝒆𝒏̃𝒂, BKD+ President of San Guillermo National High School, San Marcelino District, SDO Zambales, proudly joined the Career Intervention Camp. It was an 𝐞𝐲𝐞-𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞—I truly enjoyed the interactive sessions, learned practical skills on career planning, stress management, and entrepreneurship, and gained valuable insights on leadership and employability.

‎This camp gave me the opportunity to meet fellow student leaders and advisers from different schools, exchange ideas, and build meaningful connections that will strengthen our advocacy. ‎- 𝙎𝙪𝙗𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝘼𝙗𝙪𝙨𝙚: The misuse of drugs, alcohol, and other chemicals is a major health and social problem. The effects on health, family, and society were discussed, as well as the laws prohibiting it (RA 9165).

‎- 𝙎𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘼𝙣𝙭𝙞𝙚𝙩𝙮 𝙈𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩: Various coping strategies for combating stress and anxiety were shared, including the "𝘚𝘈𝘕𝘋𝘖𝘚𝘌𝘕𝘈𝘕𝘎 "𝘚" 𝘐𝘞𝘈𝘚 𝘚𝘛𝘙𝘌𝘚𝘚" (Spirituality, Self-awareness, Siesta, Stress reduction exercise, Scheduling, Speak to me, Stress debriefing, Sports, Sounds and songs, Smile, Sensation Techniques, Socials).
