Embarking on a transformative mission to build a stronger and healthier nation anchored in the values of Bagong Pilipinas, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. officially launches the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation’s (PhilHealth) Yaman ng Kalusugan Program (YAKAP) Para Malayo sa Sakit at the Gateway Mall in Cubao, Quezon City on July 25, 2025.
Originally launched in 2021, the PhilHealth’s Konsulta (Konsultasyong Sulit at Tama) Program has been enhanced and expanded into a more comprehensive primary care package. It now covers additional drugs and medicines, more laboratory tests and includes cancer screening at accredited primary care facilities nationwide.
This groundbreaking benefit package is designed to support Filipinos at every stage of life, prioritizing their health and well-being by promoting early detection, preventive care, and access to essential outpatient services and medicines.
Joining the President at the event are key officials from the Department of Health (DOH), Office of the Special Assistant to the President for Investment and Economic Affairs (OSAPIEA), PhilHealth and the Care Center Clinic.
