The Local Government Unit of San Mateo, Isabela, led by our beloved Mayor Atty. Gregorio Alipio Pua together with Municipal Vice Mayor Hon. Alan L. Cabacungan, proudly recognizes and honors Marcus Jade Victor E. Guzman for bringing pride and honor to our municipality and the nation.
Marcus emerged victorious as he won the Gold Medal in the 60-meter distance team competition and the Bronze Medal in the Team Competition Open Category (70m distance) at the recently concluded Archery Tournament held at Radina Arena, Malaysia, on September 26β28, 2025.
Guided and trained by his dedicated coach, Mr. Alexis B. Raquipo, Marcus showcased not only skill but also determination and sportsmanship that led him to these remarkable achievements.
In recognition of his outstanding success, the LGU of San Mateo awarded him a β±50,000.00 cash incentive as a token of appreciation for his perseverance, discipline, and excellence in sports.
His victory is not only a personal milestone but also an inspiration to the youth of San Mateo and the entire Province of Isabela, proving that with discipline, determination, and passion, success is within reach.
