‎In his duty to uphold honor and preserve the Philippine Merchant Marine Academy’s Honor System, Midn/CDR Pria stood as a guardian of integrity; he affirmed that the truth must prevail, justice be unwavering, and discipline remain the unyielding pillar of all Midshipmen despite trials that test resolve and tempests that challenge principle.

‎Through his leadership, the Academy’s code of conduct lived as an unbroken oath, persuading all to serve with honor beyond the gates of PMMA.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | With solemn pride and unwavering spirit, 252 midshipmen from the KADALIGTAN Class of 2025 took center stage during the Ring hop Ceremony held at the Philippine Merchant Marine Academy Mess Hall, Aug. 7.

A moment of triumph, reflection, and responsibility—the Ringhop marks the beginning of the end, and the start of a greater call to serve both sea and nation.

‎Bound by shared struggles and victories, they have built a brotherhood forged at sea and strengthened on land. With deep gratitude, they acknowledge the tireless efforts of the faculty of the College of Marine Transportation, whose mentorship has guided them from raw recruits to competent navigators of the future.

‎This eucharistic mass is a solemn activity traditionally held before graduation, where the graduating class, families, and the PMMA community convene to seek guidance for future endeavors.

‎𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | Member of Parliament Susana Anyatin, vice chairperson of the Committee on Basic, Higher and Technical Education (CBHTE), led a benchmarking visit to Philippine Merchant Marine Academy (PMMA), San Narciso, Zambales, Aug 3.

‎The activity forms part of the groundwork for Parliament Bill No. 356, also known as the Tawi-Tawi Maritime School Act of 2025.
‎
‎Joining the visit were Deputy Speaker and bill author MP Atty. John Anthony “Jet” Lim, along with MPs Bail Ali Karon and Foilyn Mendoza, as well as MP staff and secretariat personnel.

‎The PMMA administration expressed its support and commitment to assist the Committee and the BARMM government in establishing the region’s first maritime school.
