UNIQLOโs Nationwide Expansion Reaches La Union
The global apparel retailer opens its first store in the โSurfing Capital of the Northโ
MANILA - UNIQLO today rides the waves as it expands access to LifeWear up north with the opening of the very first UNIQLO store in La Union province.
Hailed as the โSurfing Capital of the North,โ La Union welcomes the arrival of UNIQLO and its LifeWear offerings, now made easily accessible to the local and neighboring communities. Designed to complement the provinceโs relaxed coastal lifestyle, LifeWear provides thoughtfully made essentials that suit the tropics from light, breathable fabrics to functional pieces that offer comfort under the sun. The store also serves the growing number of tourists who visits La Union for its beaches, surf spots, and creative spaces, offering versatile clothing that fits both everyday living and weekend getaways. The new store opens on October 17 at SM City La Union in San Fernando City.
As with any UNIQLO store opening, there will be tons of special promos and exclusive limited offers. During the opening week of UNIQLO SM City La Union from October 17 to 23, shoppers can look forward to several exciting deals.
Kick off the offers with the UNIQLO Crew Neck Short Sleeve T-shirt, now available from 590 pesos, along with other LifeWear favorites at special prices.

Limited offers will also be available at UNIQLO neighborhood stores, including the DRY-EX Crew Neck T-shirt from 790 pesos to 590 pesos and the AIRism Cotton Pique Polo Shirt from 990 pesos to 790 pesos, among others.
Meanwhile, shoppers can look forward to exciting novelties when they visit UNIQLO SM City La Union. From October 17 to 23, customers can receive a free UNIQLO Thermal Mug for every minimum spend of 2,500 pesos. The first 1,000 shoppers will also take home a free UNIQLO Bag Charm with no minimum spend required by simply having the UNIQLO App scanned and presenting their receipt at the novelty claiming area.
Online shoppers can also join in the celebration through Click & Collect. From October 10 to 19, every P500 purchase made via Click & Collect at UNIQLO SM City La Union comes with a free tote bag. From October 17 to 20, the first 100 customers daily can enjoy complimentary bread from Masa Bakehouse, and from October 21 to 23, they can redeem a free coffee voucher from The Coffee Library.
As part of its ongoing commitment to sustainability and community engagement, UNIQLO is marking the opening of its SM City La Union store with initiatives that give back to the local community and the environment.
