5 years ago, I started my VA journey. It wasn’t easy — I honestly felt like I couldn’t do it, kulang ako sa confidence. I kept sending applications everywhere; out of 10 resumes I submitted, maybe 3 lang ang nagre-reply, and still, I couldn’t pass the interviews. The cycle just kept repeating — apply, interview, then receive the same line: “After careful consideration, we have decided to move forward with another candidate whose qualifications…” That made me ask myself: Hala jusko Lord kaya ko ba talaga eto!?
But I didn’t quit. I pushed myself harder, studied, and enrolled in VA courses until I finally got certified. I worked hard because I knew no one else could help me but me. I applied again and eventually got the break I was waiting for. Sure, I didn’t always land the exact opportunities I wanted, but it was way better than before. Step by step, things started flowing smoothly — until one day, I received an email like this. My heart was overflowing with joy, and I told myself: “All my hard work has finally paid off. Hey, I Earned This! Kaya ko pala😍🥳🤩
