Tourism Minister Khadak Raj Paudel has urged international travelers not to cancel their planned visits to Nepal following the devastating recent floods, stressing that the disaster has affected specific areas rather than the entire country.

Most tourism destinations across Nepal remain open and operational. Travelers are, however, encouraged to check the latest road, weather and route conditions and avoid flood-damaged areas or affected trekking corridors until authorities confirm safe access.

Continuing responsible tourism can also support local guides, hotels, restaurants, transport workers and communities as Nepal moves through recovery.
