Some adventures are special because of the place, but some become unforgettable because of the people you meet along the way. 🏕️🤎

for inviting us to join this camping adventure, and to Maam Karen and Sir Yeng of KaYeng Adventures
who warmly welcomed us and made us feel right at home from the very beginning. 🫶🏻
What we thought would simply be a camping trip turned into such a wholesome and memorable experience. The funny thing is, it never really felt like we were meeting for the first time. Everyone was so accommodating, friendly, and easy to talk to that it felt like we had known each other for a long time.
We spent so much time just talking about life sharing stories, experiences, lessons, random thoughts, and everything in between. There were conversations that made us laugh, stories that we could relate to, and experiences that gave us a different perspective. It was the kind of kwentuhan you don’t plan but somehow end up being one of the best parts of the trip. ❤️
And of course, camping wouldn’t be complete without food! 😂 From preparing and cooking our own meals to sharing whatever everyone had made, every meal felt extra special. There’s just something about eating food you’ve cooked together while sitting around the campsite, talking and laughing, that makes even the simplest meal feel like a feast.
What made this adventure even more meaningful was how naturally everyone connected. No need for long introductions or trying too hard to make conversation. We just clicked. It felt comfortable, genuine, and effortless like we were already part of the same circle.
It’s funny how sometimes, you go camping expecting to make memories with the people you came with, but you end up making new friends along the way too. 🌿✨
Thank you, Misa and Ghian, for bringing us into this adventure, and thank you Karen and Yeng for welcoming us so warmly. We truly appreciate the kindness, the hospitality, the stories, the laughter, the shared food, and all the little moments in between.
Definitely one of those trips where we came for the camping but left with new friends who feel like old friends. 🏕️🤎
