ANUNSYO | KASALANG BAYAN 2025 - "Kasalan sa Panahon ng Kapaskuhan"

Muling magdaraos ng Kasalang Bayan ang Pamahalaang Lungsod ngayong darating na ika-3 ng Disyembre 2025. Ito ay limitado para sa dalawampu’t limang (25) pares lamang at ipatutupad ang First Come, First Served basis.

Para sa mga nagnanais lumahok, maaaring isumite ang mga sumusunod na requirements sa City Civil Registrar’s Office:

• Personal na pagdalo ng mga aplikante;
• PSA Certificate of Live Birth;
• PSA Certificate of No Marriage (CENOMAR);
• Marriage Counseling at Family Planning Seminar Certificate of Attendance;
• Community Tax Certificate (CTC/Cedula);
• Parent’s Advice, kung ang aplikante ay nasa edad 21 hanggang 24;
• Parent’s Consent, kung ang aplikante ay nasa edad 18 hanggang 20;
• 1 valid na government-issued ID; at
• 2 pirasong pinakabagong 2x2 I.D. na larawan (puting background), bawat aplikante.

PAALALA: Para sa requirements na nasa bilang 6 at 7, kinakailangan ang personal na pagdalo ng mga magulang ng ikakasal.

Kung may mga katanungan hinggil dito, mangyaring makipag-ugnayan sa numerong (02) 8808-2020 local 108 o personal na magsadya sa San Pedro City Civil Registrar’s Office, Laguna na matatagpuan sa Ground Floor ng San Pedro City Hall.

Ngayong araw ay nakipagpulong tayo kasama ang ating CDRRM Council bilang paghahanda sa posibleng epekto ng TC Opong sa ating lungsod.

Handa ang ating Pamahalaang Lungsod ng San Pedro, mula sa ating mga evacuation plans, emergency response, at koordinasyon sa iba’t ibang ahensya. Pero higit sa lahat, kailangan din po ang sariling paghahanda at kooperasyon ng bawat isa. Sa tulong ng lahat, masisiguro natin na ang San Pedro ay ligtas at handa.

Paalala: Mangyaring sumunod at maniwala lamang sa mga opisyal na abiso mula sa aking opisyal na pahina at sa City Government of San Pedro. Iwasan ang maling impormasyon na nagdudulot ng panic.

Para naman sa ating mga estudyante, wala pang suspensyon ng klase sa ngayon. Patuloy nating imo-monitor ang lagay ng panahon at agad naming ipapaalam kung may magiging pagbabago.

We, the undersigned Mayors for Good Governance (including MAYOR ART MERCADO) stand firmly with the Filipino people in demanding the truth, accountability, and justice behind the massive corruption allegations in flood control and other infrastructure projects, including the reported collusion between government officials and favored contractors.

In his fourth State of the Nation Address on July 28, 2025, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. ordered the investigation of ₱350 billion worth of flood control projects. As local leaders on the frontlines of disaster response, we welcome this move and fully support the pursuit of justice.

We, as public servants, demand from the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) and all concerned national government agencies the immediate and full disclosure of all project details: the Programs of Work, Detailed Unit Price Analyses, Bill of Quantities, and Feasibility Studies, and most urgently—the names of contractors and politicians responsible for these multi-billion peso projects funded by our taxpayers.

Flood control projects have existed for decades, but over the past years, corruption in these projects has become more alarming, pervasive, and systematic. There is no justification for any secrecy or delay. The Filipino people have waited long enough. Families have suffered unrelenting floods and landslides. Transparency is no longer optional, but a duty we owe to every Filipino.

Our position is clear: full transparency and genuine accountability now. Those who have stolen public funds must face the full force of the law. Once proven guilty, politicians and bureaucrats must not only be removed from office, but also prosecuted and jailed.

Corruption must end now. The Filipino people deserve a government that protects and serves them, not one that endangers their lives and robs them of their future.
