A Tale of Two Investments 📈📉
​Important reminder on why diversification matters in your wealth-building journey:

​Sa GFunds, may kaunting pullback pero hindi naman ganun kalala—currently hovering around the ₱220K range.

​Sa PSE (Philippine Stock Exchange), ibang kwento. My local equity holding dropped to ₱897K from ₱923K over the past few months. Mababa pa rin ang investor confidence sa local market today.

​But here’s why I’m not panicking:
​Dividend Flow: Both positions are dividend-heavy, so passive cash inflow continues even when capital values fluctuate.
​Global Diversification: Both leverage global exposure through instruments like XALGMIF to balance out local weakness.
​Asset Allocation: This is just one slice of my overall net worth. When you spread risk across different asset classes, a dip in one area won't crush your entire portfolio.

Primarily driven by AI bookings, but challenges lie ahead.

Been part of my company ESPP since 2015 and had some rough challenges post pandemic kung saan naging paperloss lahat ito. pero dahil may divs naman at may 15 percent discount buying at market price hinayaan ko na lang muna.

at some point naisip ko na hinto ko n lng and invest somewhere else pero naisip ko sayang din kasi. :)
