After almost a month of using my Anker Soundcore Q20i, here’s my honest take:
For the price, sulit siya. I honestly thought I’d need around ₱5k for a decent over-ear headset for editing, but this one does the job well at ₱2k+ (even bought this on sale at ₱1.5k!!)
Overall, okay na okay siya for the price. Comfortable siya sa ears even after 8 hours of use (lalo na for work), and mabilis siyang mag-connect every time I turn it on. Super seamless.
I also like that may option siya to go wired. May backup ka in case mag topak yung Bluetooth (though so far, hindi pa nangyari).
Another feature I tried:
It can connect to two devices at the same time (e.g. phone + laptop). And yes, seamless siya talaga nang sabay.
But take note:
Hindi siya sabay magpe-play.
If may pinapanood ka sa laptop, then you press play on your phone (Spotify), magpa-pause yung video sa laptop and vice versa.
It switches automatically depending on what you play, but not simultaneous audio.

Charging-wise, ang bilis niya. Less than 1 hour, fully charged na siya,
As for the folding feature, foldable siya perp hindi siya yung super compact. Yung ear cups lang yung nagfo-fold inward, so may konting space-saving, pero hindi siya fully compressible.
So if you’re looking for an over-ear headset na sobrang travel-friendly and compact, hindi ito yun.

Now, a few things to note when using it wired:
– naka-disable ang transparency mode
– hindi magagamit yung built-in mic
So if may calls ka, you’ll need to switch back to Bluetooth or use a separate mic.
Speaking of the mic, hindi siya noise-isolating. Maririnig pa rin yung background noise, so don’t expect super clear, studio-like audio especially in noisy environments.
Pero definitely mas okay pa rin siya compared sa built-in mic ng laptop. Mas buo at mas clear yung boses, so mas usable siya for calls and meetings.
Also, for those wondering:
Some laptops have separate audio & mic ports (split jack), while others use a single combo jack. Ito, single lang kaya siguro naddisable yung mic.

Longevity-wise, too early to tell (almost a month pa lang), but so far, no issues.
