The Official Student Publication of San Isidro Catholic School. Thus, their true sources are either mentioned in every article or written as footnotes.

This journal is published by San Isidro Catholic School (SICS) twice a year at the end of every semester. A special issue concerning the school setting is also released annually at the beginning of our academic calendar. In line with the implementation of the Republic Act No. 7079, otherwise known as the Campus Journalism Act of 1991, which calls for the promotion and development of campus journal

ism at the basic education level, SICS established its very own standard-bearer, The Isidorian. This publication reflects the unwavering efforts of the institution to foster quality basic education, Christ-centered formation and transformative Catholic environment in order to change every single ordinary student into a well-rounded and hardworking Filipino Catholic achiever. Some of the information, photos and graphics in this issue are taken from the Internet and other references. 𝐋𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐒𝐓: TEACHERS AND SCHOOL OFFICES ORIENTATION

On June 11, we took a deeper dive into understanding what our school is truly about. It’s not just about the facilities and workspaces—it’s also about the new faces we’ll meet during our time at the SICS campus.

Curious about the rules and regulations? The dress code? We've finally discovered what is allowed on campus.

Through each teacher’s classroom orientation, the Isidorian community was once again welcomed by familiar faces—teachers who’ve guided us both in and out of the classroom. It was also a chance to finally meet new faculty members, ready to greet the new school year with warmth and anticipation.

𝐋𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐒𝐓: MASS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT AND ISIDORIAN ORIENTATION

Last June 10, the SICS community came together for the mass of the Holy Spirit, seeking guidance at the start of a new academic year with Fr. Maxell as the mass presider.

During his homely Fr. Maxwell shares his gratitude to San Isidro Catholic School for the 11 beautiful years that he has spent within the community. It wasn’t a bittersweet goodbye, as SICS will always be a home to him.

“Habang nandito pa si Fr. Rany, ay parang nandito na rin ako.” — Fr. Maxell.

He expresses how the Isidorian community felt different to him, as if they stood out amidst the crowds. As the out-going school director, he hands over his role to Fr. Rany; he leaves a favor to the Isidorian community, asking them to promise him that they won’t change—that as time goes by, they will remain as the Isidorian community he had watched come to be.

The Isidorian students and personnels expressed their deepest gratitude to Fr. Maxell for his efforts, kindness, and great leadership at SICS through a short program.

Shortly after, Ms. Maramag orientated the students of the prefect of discipline. A reminder that every action has its consequences.

𝐋𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐒𝐓: FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

Today, June 9, 2025, marks the beginning of yet another adventure for the Isidorian community—a new school year filled with growth and fresh challenges.

The SICS community is once again ready to venture forth, gain knowledge, and embrace what it means to be an Isidorian—reuniting with old faces and creating new memories with new ones.

With goals set in their minds, the Isidorian community is determined to make this school year even better than the last.

𝐋𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐒𝐓: CULMINATING ACTIVITY OF KIDSIDORIAN CAMP: READING CAMP

On June 4, San Isidro Catholic School held a meaningful culminating activity for the Kidsidorian Reading Camp. Nursery to Grade 1 pupils gathered to showcase their love for reading through imaginative activities, and cheerful moments, bringing the event to a heartwarming close.
