Today, we celebrate Maโam Catherine A. Macabasco, whom many of us know as Maโam Kayeโa devoted teacher, an accomplished leader, and a loving mother whose strength and dedication extend from her family to her students.
She is remembered by many for her strictness, but more importantly, for the genuine care she gives her students. Her passion is evident in the way she teaches, guides with patience, and offers her support in many ways. As Head of the English Department, she continues to inspire through her leadership while also encouraging both colleagues and students. She also serves as a supportive student paper adviser for The Lagunian and manages her role as a part-time instructor at Laguna University, further proving her dedication to education in all its forms.
On this special day, we celebrate not only her birthday but also the impact of her leadership, compassion, and tireless service. Thank you, Maโam Kaye, for being a teacher, mentor, and guide who leads with both strength and heart.
