It feels so fulfilling to share my knowledge about financial education — especially this time with the educators of my Alma mater. 💛

May kakaibang saya at excitement talaga tuwing nabibigyan ako ng pagkakataon na ibahagi ang advocacy na malapit sa puso ko: helping people become financially prepared, protected, and ready for the future.

Mas naging espesyal ang pagkakataong ito dahil hindi lang basta audience ang kaharap ko. Sila ang mga g**ong naging bahagi ng aking journey bilang estudyante. Sila ang mga taong nagturo, gumabay, at tumulong humubog ng maraming pangarap at kinabukasan.

Madalas nating marinig na ang mga g**o ang humuhubog sa susunod na henerasyon. At totoo naman. Behind every professional, entrepreneur, employee, at leader today, may g**ong minsang naniwala sa kanila at nagturo ng mahahalagang aral sa buhay.

Kaya naman isang malaking karangalan para sa akin na makapagbahagi ng kaalaman tungkol sa financial literacy, financial preparedness, at personal security sa mga taong araw-araw na nagsisilbi para sa kinabukasan ng iba.

To all the teachers of DepEd Tayo - Pulong Buhangin National High School, maraming salamat sa pagkakataong maging bahagi ng inyong Brigada Eskwela with the theme, “Future Readiness, Personal Security.” Thank you for allowing me to give back to a community that once became a huge part of my own story.

Nakakatuwang isipin na minsan, isa lang akong estudyante sa paaralang ito. Ngayon, nakabalik ako hindi bilang estudyante, kundi bilang isang taong may maibabahaging kaalaman na sana ay makatulong sa inyong sariling future and financial well-being.

Maraming salamat, PBNHS. This will always be a meaningful full-circle moment for me. 💛✨

Maling-mali ang pagkakaintindi ng iba sa ‘God will provide.’

Kasi para sa karamihan, parang ibig sabihin nun,
hihiga ka nalang, maghihintay at bahala na si Lord sa lahat.

Na parang sapat nayung puro dasal kahit wala namang ginagawa.

Pero hindi ganun gumalaw ang buhay.

Maraming gustong umangat sa buhay pero ayaw namang:

✅ maging disciplined,
✅ matuto ng bagong skills,
✅ umalis sa comfort zone, o
✅ ayusin yung sarili nilang habits.

Tapos sasabihin, “God will provide.”

Minsan,ginagamit nalang yung faith para iwasan yung responsibility.

At yun yung mahirap tanggapin.

Kasi oo, ‘God provides’ pero madalas, dumadating Siya through:

✨ opportunities,
✨ wisdom,
✨ connections,
✨ skills at
✨ chances na paulit-ulit mong binebalewala.

Minsan, binubuksan na nga yung pinto, ikaw nalang mismo yung takot pumasok kasi uncomfortable.

And that changes everything.

Kasi ang totoo, faith without action eventually becomes excuse.

Hindi porket malakas ka magdasal, automatic magiging maayos ang buhay mo.

Kailangan mo ring:

➡️ kumilos,
➡️ magpakapagod,
➡️ maging consistent at
➡️ panindigan yung mga decisions mo.

Napansin mo rin ba? Yung mga taong sobrang blessed sa buhay, madalas sila rin yung:

▫️ masipag,
▫️ consistent,
▫️ willing matuto at
▫️ hindi takot magsimula ulit.

Hindi yun coincidence.

Kasi hindi lahat ng answered prayer bumabagsak lang mula sa langit.

Minsan, answered prayer pala yung:

📣 opportunity na dumating,
📣 lesson na masakit, o
📣 push na kailangan mo para mag-grow.

“God will provide” does not mean, “Stay stagnant”.

Minsan, yung provision ni Lord nasa bagay na iniiwasan mo dahil mahirap, nakakatakot o inconvenient.

At dun maraming tao naiiwan.

Hindi dahil kulang sila sa faith, kundi dahil kulang sila sa courage na kumilos.

Akala natin ang pinakamabigat sa cancer or critical illness ay yung hospital bill. Pero sabi nga ng maraming doctors and survivors, simula pa lang pala ‘yun.

Habang may gamutan, may nawawalang income.

May therapies, maintenance medicines, regular check-ups, at recovery period na hindi mo alam gaano katagal.

At kadalasan, hindi lang isang tao ang naaapektuhan.
Buong pamilya rin nadadamay emotionally, physically, and financially.

Kaya mas naiintindihan ko kung bakit maraming nagva-value ng insurance with critical illness coverage. Kasi hindi lang pera ang pinoprotektahan mo.
