⭐ Street Fighter 6 Yasmine Celebration Cup Manila

The debut of the first Filipina character in Street Fighter "Yasmine" happened today August 9 at Salud, Makati City. It was a wonderful moment to witness the story and gameplay of Yasmine together with Street Fighter fans and the whole gaming community. Her amazing skills are all Filipino-related! Nakaka-proud! I personally like her "Bayani Mode" where there will be a boost in her energy and power.

We were also able to play her demo firsthand at the event. She was so fun to use in the game~! Local gamers enjoyed the Yasmine demo and were continuously using her, battling with their friends.

The event had a raffle too, where you can win amazing prices related to gaming and SF. It was unfortunate tho, I wasn't lucky to win any prizes /cries/ 🥲 But! There was a claw-machine game, and I was able to get another lanyard lol! Better than nothing at all 😆

The day continued with the SF competition. The players in the event were all skilled, it was so awesome to witness their gameplays.

The Street Fighter became more fun to play with the new added Pinay character, Yasmine~! Welcome, kababayan! 🇵🇭

What a successful Spidey evening~! 🕸🕷❣️

Big thanks to Ripple8 for making this event happen.

We were not only blessed with free screening of Spiderman Brand New Day, but they also had a raffle game! A lot of people won, and of course, we were lucky enough to win too!

Funny thing though, a non-sporty person like me won a fun run ticket! 😆 Still, super thankful! Maybe this is the start of my runner era ~ Road to trentahin na talaga.

They also gave us goodie bags with journals, Jollibee gift certificates, and of course, Jollibee snacks. Syempre, kinain na agad yan! 🥳

I was just roaming around the expo when I saw a group getting ready for a D&D-style game. I've always been fascinated by TTRPGs (Tabletop Role Playing Games). They look so fun, creative, and they really get your imagination going

Luckily, I was able to chat a Dungeon Master RapRap Banzon (naks naman hahaha). Anyway, he explained to me briefly about TTRPG. I mentioned that I am fascinated by this type of game and I wanted to learn the basics. He introduced the game to me in simple baby words (perfect for a normie like me lol ~). One thing I found really cool is that players can build and paint their own miniatures and props before playing. It sounds like such a fun hobby and a great way to bond with friends and family, keeping you away from screentime.

I mentioned to him it will be nice if they will have a workshop for people who wants to learn TTRPG. I will surely join that workshop if ever 😆 Just let me have my caffeine for brain boost!
