Bilang pakikiisa ng Gender Equality, Disability and Social Inclusion Office (GEDSIO) at Communication Management Office (CMO) sa pagdiriwang ng Pride Month, mainam na talakayin ang ating mga karapatan upang patuloy na mapanatili ang mga ligtas na espasyo — nasa loob man o labas ng Sintang Paaralan.

Kasama si Atty. Lyca Balita, sabay-sabay nating isulong ang kaalaman tungkol sa Safe Spaces Act o mas kilala bilang Anti-Bastos Law.

Ang kalayaan ay bunga ng dugo at pawis ng ating mga bayani. Ipagdiwang natin ito ng may dangal at pasasalamat. Maligayang Araw ng Kalayaan!

Ngayong araw, ipinagdiriwang natin ang Eid al-Adha — isang mahalagang kapistahan sa Islam na ginugunita ang pananampalataya at sakripisyo ni Propeta Ibrahim (Abraham). Para sa ating mga kapatid na Muslim, ito ay panahon ng panalangin, pag-aalay, at pagbabahagi ng biyaya sa kapwa.

Para sa ating mga hindi Muslim, ito rin ay paalala ng kahalagahan ng pananampalataya, malasakit, at pagkakawanggawa — mga pagpapahalagang nagbubuklod sa atin bilang isang komunidad.

Mula sa pamayanang PUP: Eid al-Adha Mubarak! Nawa’y maging makabuluhan at mapayapa ang inyong pagdiriwang.
