The hardest part of parenting isn’t just the newborn phase — the sleepless nights, the constant feeding, or the exhaustion that hits deep in your bones. It’s not even the heartbreaking cries when you leave the house or the separation anxiety that tugs at both your hearts.
The real challenge — the part that truly breaks you in the quiet moments — is when your kids all fall sick at the same time. When little bodies are burning with fever, tiny coughs echo through the night, and you’re pulled in every direction trying to comfort each one. When you wish you could take their pain for them, but all you can do is hold them close, wipe their tears, and whisper, "Mama’s here."
You're juggling medicine schedules, lukewarm soups, endless cuddles, and midnight thermometer checks, all while your own body begs for rest. But you keep going. Because that's what we do. We show up, even when we're running on empty.
It’s in these moments — messy, emotional, exhausting — that motherhood becomes the purest form of love. No sleep, no breaks, no guarantees… just love, fierce and unwavering.
Tired mumma, yes. Overwhelmed, sometimes. But never complaining — because even in the hardest moments, I’m reminded just how deeply I love these little humans.
One day, they’ll be healthy and running wild again. But for now, I’ll be right here, holding them through it.
