Mt. Malinao is one of the TRIO mountains of Albay and this three are the favorites of
tourist and local climbers. I first contact Mr. George De Mesa Cordovilla to ask if he is available as a Mountain Guide but unfortunately he is not instead he gave Mr. Jameel Mata number and we call him and agreed to the terms as our Mountain Guide.

Jameel is a professional license Mountain guide by the local Tourism board and has
7 years of climbing experience not to mention he sometimes like to climb alone in this TRIO mountains.

Malinao is a volcano located in the Bicol Region of the Philippines. The stratovolcano has no historical eruption but displays strong fumarolic activity which is harnessed for generating electricity. Located on its slope is Tiwi Geothermal Power Plant, one of the first geothermal energy plant commissioned in the country.

There are no historical eruptions from Malinao which is believed to have been active from about 500,000 years ago until 60,000 years ago.
