Maiba nga tayo. ₱200 Wage Hike. Maganda to — but who really pays the price?

Yes, workers might take home more.
Pero sa likod ng “taas-sweldo” headline, eto ang katotohanan:

1. Madaming negosyo ang magsasara.
2. Libo-libo ang mawawalan ng trabaho.
3. At pustahan, tataas lang ulit ang presyo ng bilihin. ulit ulit nalang yan.

So... asan ang tunay na “buying power” diyan?
Maganda lang sa payslip, pero sa tunay na buhay? Same same lang ulit.

Real talk.

Big conglomerates? May buffers yan. May malaking capital. They’ll respond by cutting headcount or automating operations using AI and machines. so goodbye workers - companies will still survive.

Foreign investors? halos ng malalaking kumpanya at corporation dito hindi pinoy ang may-ari. pansin mo? “What is ₱200?” Barya lang yan sa usapang dulyares. They treat money as capital — not survival.

But who truly suffers?

!!!The real Filipino business owners!!!
Yung tindera ng bowls sa food court.
Yung gumagawa ng snacks sa palengke.
Yung nagbabayad ng renta, nagbubuwis, at nagtitiyaga sa maliit na tubo — para lang may maibigay na trabaho.

And yes, the same government who pushes for wage hikes is the same one that:

1. Collects 12% VAT the moment you grow (grow ng kaunti ha!)
2. Requires higher philhealth/sss/pagibig contributions — but from employer & employee. para kunwari tataas ang benefits.
3. Mandates salary alignment with big companies — kahit ang kita, langit at lupa ang agwat

Ang tanong: nasaan ang ambag ng gobyerno sa solusyong ito?

To raise buying power, they pin the cost on small Filipino entrepreneurs — not on billion-peso conglomerates, and definitely not on government spending.

✅ Yes to uplifting workers. Go lang!
❌ No to policies that quietly kill small businesses. Review the tax policies please.

If we don’t protect small businesses, we won’t have jobs to fight for in the first place. Imagine kung lahat nalang ng investors big or small puro na dayuhan - so ano? alipin nalang tayo ng sarili nating bayan?

Let’s demand better — not just feel-good headlines. Wag papogi lagi - please think of a solution that is beneficial to all filipinos! Try nyo bawasan ang binubulsa nyo baka sakaling gumanda ang ekonomiya agad agad. wag puro pasalo sa mga kumakayod na filipino.
