At SDC campus, the students played a fun Filipino game called the sock race in their PE class. For them, the sock race is an enjoyable game. The sock race is a part of our Filipino culture which is really fun and helps everyone move around and actually it's nice to play a game that's part of our culture. It makes the students happy and it helps them be active. Playing fun Filipino games like this help us stay active and remember our identity as Filipino. Preserving traditional Filipino games like the sock race is important because these games help keep our culture alive.

On September 8, 2025, the classroom buzzed with restless energy as students carried the weight of deadlines and lessons. That mood quickly shifted when the professorโ€™s initiative demonstrated that taking a moment to sing from the heart is sometimes the best way to refuel. It was more about sharing happiness and easing the burden of academic stress than it was about who could sing the best.

This karaoke break was more than just a distraction for the students. It served as a welcome reminder that educational settings can also be enjoyable, friendly, and humorous.

Kamakailan lang ay lumaganap ang sari-saring komento ng mga mamamayan patungkol sa napapanahong kontrobersiya sa buong Pilipinas. Kung ating iisipin, saan nga ba talaga napupunta ang perang pinagpaguran ng mga mamamayang pilipino? Bakit nananatiling multo ang naipangakong pag-unlad? Habang patuloy ang pagtaas ng bilihin at pagpapahirap ng "multong" hindi natin ninanais ay bakit tila nanatiling malayo ang katarungan? Ito ba'y multo o sadyang dulot na lamang ng katakot-takot na kasakimang nagpapahirap sa buhay ng maraming Pilipino?

This quote is a powerful reminder that, no matter how many times you return to that specific river, the water flowing within will never be the same again. It's an analogy for life and the different changes we might think life doesn't change at all, but it does. Life is constantly evolving โ€” you might not notice, but it does. The only constant thing in life is that everything changes. So what we have to do is accept and adapt to change โ€” and embrace it as it is. Life may not treat you fairly today, and things might not be the same tomorrow or even next week โ€” but eventually it will. Everything changes, because nothing is permanent.

โ€‹Ang isyu ng korapsyon sa mga proyektong panlaban sa baha ay naglalantad ng dalawang malaking problema na kinakaharap ng Pilipinas: ang pagiging lubog sa utang at ang patuloy na pagbaha sa bansa.

โ€‹Sa kabila ng bilyon-bilyong pisong ginagastos para sa imprastruktura, na karaniwang pinopondohan ng mga utang, marami sa mga proyektong ito ay nananatiling hindi epektibo. Ayon sa mga imbestigasyon, kadalasan, hindi ang buong utang ay nagagamit sa proyekto dahil tiwalang opisyal at pulitiko na pamamagitan ng kickbacks at iba pang iligal na gawain. Dahil dito, ang mga proyektong dapat sana'y magtatagal ay pupu'tumuunod mula sa baha ay substandard o kaya'y hindi natatapos.

โ€‹Ang sitwasyong ito ay naglalagay sa bansa sa isang mahirap na kalagayan. Habang lumalaki ang utang ng Pilipinas, hindi naman nararamdaman ng mamamayan ang tunay na benepisyo ng mga proyektong pinondohan nito. Sa halip, patuloy silang nagdurusa sa mga pagbaha na sumisira sa kanilang mga kabuhayan at naglalagay sa kanilang buhay sa panganib. Ang isyu ay nagpapakita na ang korapsyon ay hindi lang isyu na moral na problema, mayroon itong direktang epekto sa kaligtasan at kinabukasan ng bawat Pilipino.
