🚨 Situation Update: Our Community is Still Submerged

We are still flooded. The roads remain impassable.

Over 600 households are currently submerged in black, pungent, stagnant water—with garbage and waste floating all around. The septic tanks are overfilled, and the smell is unbearable.

The mosquito population has tripled, and the risk of disease grows every day we stay like this.

This isn’t just water—it’s a health hazard. A crisis.

This is STILL our situation today. Walang nagbago sa level ng baha. We are now dealing with stagnant water. We are still closed for guests. Wag po muna bumyahe papunta ng sto tomas dahil ang flooded po ang mga daanan papunta dito as in waist level po ang tubig baha dito samin.

Every year, our area faces flooding but this year, it’s the worst we’ve seen.
The waters have come too early, too strong, and we’re just at the beginning of the season.

We’re doing everything we can to continue operations, not just for us, but for the people who depend on Pampanga Pottery. Our team relies on their daily work to provide for their families, and we want to make sure they still have that chance.

This situation is heavy on us as owners, but it’s even harder for our community.
And tomorrow? It feels heavier than ever.

But still, we rise. Still, we hope.
We’re holding on with muddy hands, tired hearts, and a quiet prayer for better days.

We are closed po. Baha pa rin po samin. :(

Worst Flooding We’ve Ever Faced

Our farm is completely underwater. This is the worst flooding we’ve experienced since we started Pampanga Pottery.
Many of our workers have taken shelter here in the Camalig, their only safe refuge for now.

Despite everything, we’re trying to keep spirits up, to keep our small operations running so our team can still earn.
But we can’t deny, it’s heartbreaking to see the land we’ve poured our love and labor into completely submerged.

Please keep us and our community in your prayers. 🙏
If you’re in a position to help or share, your support means everything to us right now.

𝗣𝗔𝗠𝗣𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗔 𝗣𝗢𝗧𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗬 𝗙𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗗 𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘

We are deeply affected by the severe flooding here in Pampanga.

For the past 4 years, we’ve lived and worked on this farm. Every year around this time, we prepare to temporarily close for visitors due to weather but this year is different. This is the worst flooding we’ve experienced.

Our team has taken shelter in our Camalig, doing our best to continue operations amidst rising waters. We are holding on not just for ourselves, but for the families and artisans who depend on Pampanga Pottery for their livelihood. This isn’t just a business. It’s a community. And they need this work now more than ever.

It’s heartbreaking to see the land we’ve nurtured underwater, but what’s even more frightening is the uncertainty for those whose lives are tied to what we do.

For everyone’s safety, we are temporarily closing our tourism operations until further notice. We ask for your understanding, and most of all, your prayers.

We will rebuild, reshape, and rise just as we always do.
Maraming salamat po sa inyong suporta. 🤍

Pampanga Pottery; New Era

Hi, I’m Precious Garcia, eldest daughter of the owner of EGQ Pottery. I have one brother and twin sisters which are still in college. I am happily married for almost seven years and we were blessed with two sons.

Ever since I got married and became a work at home mom, I always find something that can become an outlet for my creative thoughts. I always love creating from scratch and building things that are both functional and essential. My journey as a mom made me realize that life is better without too much clutter. And so I became a minimalist.

Early last year, after I finished my training in Organic Farming(which I initially plan to develop) my Dad asked me to help him in the factory. Without hesitation, I said yes. My journey as the production manager is not easy at first. Although I do have some background about the job, it was a little bit awkward to handle people because I became accustomed to doing everything by myself. Everyday, I draw motivation from the people around me. From the employees to the people that visits our factory.

Until one day, at the beginning of this year (2020), I met Mr. Andy Alviz. Which was funny by the way because when I became a minimalist, I stopped watching television so i didn’t know who he was. I just had a little conversation with him because he bought some overruns from the store. The following day, we already organized the launching of Pampanga Pottery. That day, I also found out who he was and how influential he is.
