Have you ever noticed when someone changes?
She doesn’t act the way she used to.
And suddenly, people either love the “new” her… or quietly miss the “old” her.
The truth is, 𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙩.
People evolve.
The person you knew months ago might not be the same person you meet today.
Sometimes we enjoy the new version of someone—because she’s grown in ways we admire.
Other times, we find ourselves missing the version of her we once cherished.
Here’s what we often overlook:
𝗔𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗳𝘂𝗹.
When we speak out the very thing we appreciate in someone, the chances of them doing it again becomes so much higher.
Words reinforce identity.
Affirmation fuels confidence.
And just like affirmation encourages, correction redirects.
When someone is gently rebuked, they often think twice before repeating the same behavior.
So next time you see a behavior worth celebrating—affirm it.
Your words might be the one encouragement she’s been waiting for… the reminder she needs— to step boldly into the best version of herself again.
