They didn’t meet by accident; they met like a camera finding perfect focus. Tonio was busy turning his storytelling dreams into reality; Iyah was shaping minds and kneading dough like it was therapy. And somewhere in the mix, God tilted the light just right, and their paths crossed.
The first time TONIO saw Iyah baked a bread, he thought, “If she can make bread this fluffy, imagine our future kids.”

I’m Cris and I’m a full-time Cinematographer, and Editor here in Dark and Grey. I focus on editing videos, and creating stories. I’m a lover of dark ambient sceneries, music, art, spicy food and horror movies. I’m fascinated by the stars and the universe. I like to set goals, eat cheese, and staying up late with my laptop. Santo Tomas, Davao del Norte is home base for me, but I’ll travel anywhere you want to take me. Absolutely! I will never go home without your approval (and hugs). I'm committed to working with you to create beautiful visuals, compelling stories, and engaging content that will help you attract the type of people you want to. You tell me about yourself and/or your company and why you exist, and I'll do the heavy lifting to make sure the world understands. People, intentional moments and the fleeting nature of adolescence inspires me to create treasures that families can keep for a lifetime and beyond. Nothing is more precious than photos taken and videos recorded that you can hold, remember and then pass on to your kids when they are grown.
Videography is a special medium to me. It blends art and technology, prediction and reaction, light and shadow. It captures a moment in time and preserves it, allowing the viewer to experience that moment again and again. I love how a film tells a story of a moment. I also love how a video can bring up other sensory memories: the sounds, the smells, the excitement or sweetness of that moment captured. I love my job of being a visual storyteller, knowing that I am creating films for my clients so that they may relive those special moments for years to come. I am honored to be an intimate part of your event, to be there for every one of the seasons of life, and allowing me the opportunity to capture the special moments of your life.

Hi, I’m Nalodiya and I am the principal photographer here at Dark and Grey. I shoot 90% of the work we do. I’m a photojournalist since I was in Primary School. I’ve been shooting food photography since 2016. I’m capturing photos with the team since 2018, and I can still say that it is one of the greatest jobs I could have ever stumbled upon. I am so blessed to have worked with so many incredible couples and families over the years doing what I love – many who have become great friends. My goal as a photographer is to provide you with works of art – beautiful images that tell your story, each worthy of being framed. It’s important for me that you feel comfortable and relaxed, which always leads to the very best photographs.
With regards to weddings, I prefer quality over quantity and therefore take on only a limited number of weddings each year. Should you choose me to photograph your wedding here are a few things to expect:
I don’t want you to be posing all day.
I’m always looking for the magical moments in-between.
I drool over details and seek to capture every single one.
I like to provide enough direction so that you will feel confident and at ease (however it is my aim to stay out of the way when I can).
I want you to be present and fully able to enjoy and celebrate together with family and friends. Isn’t that what it’s about?
If you are a bride or groom who wants to be able to relive your wedding day moment by moment, through imagery as beautiful as the memories you cherish, then I promise this is right where you’re supposed to be. Whether it’s walking you through the symbolism of a unity candle, or helping you (or even the officiant) know where to sign the marriage license, I’m able to lead you through it.
I’m here because I’m in love with making people feel assured, excited, beautiful, and giving them images they can hold on to. Getting to be there for the bride and groom is so special to me. In the service industry people can get carried away, or start to think that it’s all about them because of their skill or know how — but I know it’s all because of the wonderful couples who value little moments and memories that I am able to create frame worthy photographs for them. Sometimes in my pursuit of getting those beautiful images, I may say something awkward or silly, but if I do, it’s all in pursuit of those genuine laughs and outward expression of the joy you get when you are in the arms of the person you love.
