𝐈𝐍 ππ‡πŽπ“πŽπ’ | On September 27, 2026, the Training Staff of Santo Tomas College of Agriculture, Sciences and Technology (STCAST), Reserve Officer Training Corps Unit (ROTCU), successfully conducted its MS-1 11TH FORMATION at the STCAST Gymnasium, Santo Tomas, Davao del Norte.

At around 4:00 AM, the day began with stretching, reveille exercises, and a road run led by TSg Arniel D Baguio (ARM) PA together with the Tac NCOs and GMA’s, together with Ten (10) 1CL, Eight (8) 2CL, and Seven (7) Aspiring Cadet officers.

At around 8:00 AM, the STCAST ROTC Unit, led by TSg Arniel D Baguio (ARM) PA, followed by Sgt Michael Z Diel (RES) PA and Sgt Ryan C Aparre (INF) PA, together with the Tac NCOs and GMA’s, and participated by Ten (10) 1CL, Eight (8) 2CL, and Seven (7) Aspiring Cadet officers, conducted a Flag Raising Ceremony followed by an inspection of officers. The activity ended at 11:00 AM.

At about 1:00 PM, the STCAST ROTC Unit, led by TSg Arniel D Baguio (ARM) PA, followed by Sgt Michael Z Diel (RES) PA and Sgt Ryan C Aparre (INF) PA, together with the Tac NCOs, GMA’s, Fifteen (15) 1CL, Eleven (11) 2CL, Nine (9) Aspiring Cadet officers, and One Hundred Forty-Seven (147) Basic Cadets and Cadettes, conducted a quiz for all MS1 cadets, followed by a practical demonstration of basic facing with r***e. The activity ended at 5:00 PM.

These activities highlight the STCAST ROTC Unit’s commitment to developing disciplined, knowledgeable, and responsible cadets through physical training, academic assessment, and practical military instruction. Through continuous training and hands-on activities, cadets are molded with discipline, confidence, and readiness in preparation for future service to the nation.

𝐈𝐍 ππ‡πŽπ“πŽπ’ | On September 20, 2026, the Training Staff of Santo Tomas College of Agriculture, Sciences and Technology (STCAST), Reserve Officer Training Corps Unit (ROTCU), successfully conducted its MS-1 10TH FORMATION at the STCAST Gymnasium, Santo Tomas, Davao del Norte.

At around 4:00 AM, the day began with the Physical Fitness Test (PFT) led by TSg Arniel D Baguio (ARM) PA, together with the Tac NCOs and GMA’s, participated by Eight (8) 1CL, Eleven (11) 2CL, and Nine (9) Aspiring Cadet officers.

At around 8:00 AM, the STCAST ROTC Unit, led by TSg Arniel D Baguio (ARM) PA, followed by Sgt Michael Z Diel (RES) PA, Sgt Ramiel C Cadusales (FS) PA, and Sgt Ryan C Aparre (INF) PA, together with the Tac NCOs and GMA’s, and participated by Nine (9) 1CL, Twelve (12) 2CL, and Eight (8) Aspiring Cadet officers, conducted a Flag Raising Ceremony, followed by lectures about Improvised Explosive Device (IED) for all officers and aspiring cadets and Survival Technique 1 for Aspiring Cadets. The activity ended at 11:00 AM.

At about 1:00 PM, the STCAST ROTC Unit, led by TSg Arniel D Baguio (ARM) PA, followed by Sgt Michael Z Diel (RES) PA, Sgt Ramiel C Cadusales (FS) PA, and Sgt Ryan C Aparre (INF) PA, together with the Tac NCOs, GMA’s, Nine (9) 1CL, Twelve (12) 2CL, Eight (8) Aspiring Cadet officers, and One Hundred Thirty-One (131) Basic Cadets and Cadettes, conducted lectures on Survival Technique 1, Basic Life Support 1, and Improvised Explosive Device (IED), followed by practical demonstrations on r***e handling and basic facing. The activity successfully ended at 5:00 PM.

These activities highlight the STCAST ROTC Unit’s commitment to developing disciplined, capable, and responsible cadets through physical fitness, academic instruction, and practical military training. 𝐈𝐍 ππ‡πŽπ“πŽπ’ | On September 19, 2026, the Santo Tomas College of Agriculture, Sciences and Technology (STCAST) Reserve Officer Training Corps Unit (ROTCU) successfully participated in the security deployment for the Fun Run Activity with a theme β€œDagan Para Kang San Miguel” held at San Miguel Parish, Tibal-og, Santo Tomas, Davao del Norte.

At around 3:00 AM, the STCAST ROTC Unit, led by TSg Arniel D Baguio (ARM) PA, followed by Sgt Michael Z Diel (RES) PA and Sgt Jerson Trabucon (RES) PA, together with Six (6) 1CL, Six (6) 2CL, and Nine (9) aspiring cadet officers, conducted a final briefing and deployment of personnel to their respective assigned areas for security and crowd assistance during the event.

The cadets were deployed to their designated areas to help maintain security, order, and safety throughout the activity. The security duties were successfully carried out, and the activity concluded at approximately 7:00 AM.

The successful participation of the STCAST ROTC Unit in this outside event highlights the cadets’ commitment to discipline, responsibility, teamwork, and service to the community. Through activities such as this, cadets are given opportunities to apply their training and demonstrate their readiness to serve and assist the public.

𝐈𝐍 ππ‡πŽπ“πŽπ’ | On September 06, 2026, the Training Staff of Santo Tomas College of Agriculture, Sciences and Technology (STCAST), Reserve Officer Training Corps Unit (ROTCU), successfully conducted its MS-1 8TH FORMATION at the STCAST Gymnasium, Santo Tomas, Davao del Norte.

At about 4:00 o’clock in the morning, the day began with stretching, reveille exercises, and a road run led by TSg Arniel D Baguio (Arm) PA, Chief Clerk of STCAST, together with the Tac NCOs and GMA’s, alongside Eleven (11) 1CL, Eleven (11) 2CL, and Nine (9) aspiring cadet officers.

At around 8:00 AM, the STCAST ROTC Unit, led by TSg Arniel D Baguio (ARM) PA, followed together with the Tac NCOs and GMA’s, and participated in by Thirteen (13) 1CL, Eleven (11) 2CL, and Nine (9) aspiring cadet officers, conducted a Flag Raising Ceremony. This was followed by a lecture for aspiring cadet officers about Military Correspondence and a lecture for MS31 about Signal Communication 2. The activity ended at 11:00 AM.

At about 1:00 o'clock in the afternoon, the Training Staff of the STCAST ROTC UNIT led by 1LT DANIEL G HILARIO (RES) PA, Commandant, followed by TSg ARNIEL D BAGUIO (ARM) PA, Chief Clerk, together with Tactical NCO's and GMA's, conducted lectures about MILITARY HISTORY AND EVOLUTION and FOLLOWERSHIP 1, followed by an INSPECTION OF RANKS to the Thirteen (13) 1CL, Eleven (11) 2CL, Nine (9) Aspiring Cadets and One Hundred Thirty-Eight (138) Basic Cadets and Cadettes. The activity ended at 5:00 PM.

These activities highlight the STCAST ROTC Unit’s commitment to developing disciplined, competent, and responsible cadets through physical training, academic instruction, and military discipline. Through continuous training and leadership development, every cadet is molded with the values of discipline, integrity, and honor in preparation for future service to the nation.
