๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ | On 13 May 2026, the Santo Tomas College of Agriculture Sciences and Technology (STCAST) celebrated a significant milestone as it conducted the 8th National Service Training Program (NSTP) Graduation Ceremony and official recognition activities, held at the Cultural Gymnasium, Tibal-og, Santo Tomas, Davao del Norte.
โAt 0830H | The dayโs proceedings commenced with the formal Entry of Colors, rendered with precision by the STCAST ROTC Unit. Led by CDT COL CHRISTIANS PAUL ARGONZA, 1CL, the color mandet was composed of three (3) First Class, nine (9) Second Class, and seven (7) Third Class cadets, marking the start of the Graduation Day recognition activities which concluded at 1100H.
โAt 1300H | The STCAST formally convened the 8th NSTP Graduation Ceremony, encompassing the ROTC, LTS, and CWTS components. The event was supervised by 1LT DANIEL G HILARIO (RES) PA, Commandant, alongside TSg Arniel D Baguio (Arm) PA, Chief Clerk, and the Tactical NCOs, in coordination with Mr. Leonardo D. Bernardo, CSPE, LPT, NSTP/ROTC Coordinator, and Mrs. Hannah R. Mariano, MBA, OSAS Director.
โDuring the Ceremony | A pivotal moment occurred as 1LT HILARIO officially declared the ROTC cadets as graduates of the program. 2PLT MICHEAL Z. DIEL, Tactical Officer, read the Official Enlistment Order pursuant to RA 7077 and RA 9163, formally transitioning the cadets into the Citizen Armed Forces of the Philippines Reservist pool. Inspiring messages were delivered by Mr. Vincent C. Tapayan and Mr. Leonardo D. Bernardo, both of whom emphasized the core values of discipline, leadership, and unwavering commitment to national service.
โThe ceremony successfully concluded at 1600H, marking a proud day of achievement for the graduates and the institution, with no untoward incidents reported.
