LOOK || On or about 311300H August, the Santo Tomas College of Agriculture, Sciences and Technology (STCAST) conducted a classroom discussion on the Code of Citizenship, Customs and Traditions, Drills, and Ceremonies for aspiring officers.

Cadets also performed basic facings under the supervision of the Commandant of the STCAST ROTC Unit, 1LT Daniel G. Hilario PA (Res), together with the Chief Clerk of the STCAST ROTC Unit, TSg Arniel D. Baguio (Arm) PA. The activity was further supported by the Tactical NCOs, GMAs, 1CL, 2CL, aspiring cadets, and basic cadets.

The activity concluded at about 1700H on the same day.

Final March & Turnover of Command Ceremony

Today, we honor the graduating First Class Cadets of the Santo Tomas College of Agriculture, Sciences and Technology (STCAST) ROTC Unit. Through dedication, discipline, and leadership, they have completed their journey as cadets and will now continue to serve as Graduate Military Assistants. This is not a farewell, but a salute to their future as they step forward, ready to lead and serve.

We also commemorate the Turnover of Command Ceremony, a significant tradition of leadership and responsibility within the Corps. We extend our highest commendation to CDT COL Charisse L Manigos (1CL), outgoing Battalion Commander, for her exemplary service, and we welcome CDT LTC Prince Vaynard Lasco (2CL), incoming Battalion Commander, together with the new Corps Staff.

This ceremony reaffirms our commitment to the enduring values of discipline, teamwork, leadership, and service to the nation as we uphold the proud traditions of the STCAST ROTC Unit.

LOOK || The Santo Tomas College of Agriculture, Sciences and Technology (STCAST) ROTC Unit successfully conducted its Turnover of Command Ceremony, a military tradition that formally transfers leadership, authority, and responsibility from the outgoing Corps Commander to the incoming Corps Commander.

The ceremony was presided over by COL JULITO P GARAY MI (GSC) PA, together with TSg Arniel D Baguio (Arm) PA, Chief Clerk; and Leonardo D. Bernado, NSTP/ROTC Coordinator; along with TAC NCOs, GMA’s, 1CL, 2CL, and Basic Cadets.

This seamless transition of leadership is a testament to commitment and service. We extend our heartfelt salute to Sgt Charisse L Manigos PA (Res) for her dedicated service, and we warmly welcome our new Corps Commander, Cdt Col Prince Vaynard G Lasco, 1ST CL. Lead with honor!
