The Philippine Publishing House family mourns the passing of our beloved fellow worker in God’s vineyard, Pastor Ferdinand G. Esico, a faithful servant whose life was devoted to the advancement of the publishing ministry and the proclamation of the gospel.

Pastor Ferdinand will always be remembered as a dedicated leader, an inspiring mentor, and a humble worker for Christ. His unwavering faithfulness, passion for literature evangelism, and deep love for God’s mission touched countless lives and strengthened many workers in the field. More than a leader, he was a source of encouragement and hope to those privileged to labor beside him. He truly fought the good fight and remained steadfast in the calling entrusted to him until his final days.

Together with many in the Seventh-day Adventist Church in the Philippines, we grieve the loss of this exceptional worker of God, but we hold on to the blessed hope of Christ’s soon return:

“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith” (2 Timothy 4:7).

“Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord… that they may rest from their labors, and their works follow them” (Revelation 14:13).
