“From a Favor to a Breakthrough: The Inspiring Journey of a Digital Product Creator”
Hi everyone. I am Cyrel, the admin of the page, Macy Creative Digitals. I just want to share to you how I was encouraged this time to pursue this digital product selling.
It all started with a simple favor, a request from a teacher, an adviser. She needed a classroom bulletin but she wanted to be printed on a tarpaulin. So, she tried to ask if I could create a design for her. I decided to help her as I also love editing. So, we talked about what were the contents needed to be included and what layout.
When I presented the finished product to my friend, she said it was good. She was thrilled with the result, and so were her students. The bulletin was a hit! It brought a new level of engagement to her classroom, sparking curiosity and fostering a love for learning among her students.
The bulletin was posted on her advisory classroom. One day, another teacher approached me. She had seen the bulletin in my friend’s classroom and was impressed by its impact. She wanted a similar bulletin for her classroom and was willing to pay for it.
I was taken aback. What started as a favor for a friend had turned into a potential business opportunity.
I realized then that my passion for creating digital products could be more than just a hobby. It could be a way to make a difference while also earning a living.
So, I took on the project, and thus, my journey in the world of digital products began but I did not pursue it immediately (I enrolled in a course last April 2024 and up to this time I am learning) since I have a full-time job as a school office assistant.
Looking back, I realize that it was not just about creating a product; it was about creating value. It was about using my skills to contribute to a cause I believed in - education. And the best part? It all started with a simple act of kindness, a favor for a friend.
And that, my friends, is how I started my journey in the world of digital products. It’s a story of friendship, passion, and the unexpected twists and turns that life often throws our way. It’s a story that’s real, relatable, and above all, truly inspiring.
