Sindangan has quite seen significant expansion since the 1990s and its urbanization can be tracked down through timestamps in Googleโs data.
The earliest satellite image of Sindangan was in 1985 and although blurry, the Sindangan River is seen to be much narrower at the time compared to what it is today.
Meanwhile, Sindanganโs most recent satellite data was in 2021, and although it is evident that the settlement in town has expanded, recent updates are still not available in the satellite image like the new integrated bus terminal, the upgraded cultural and sports complex, the remodeled public plaza, and the river esplanade.
