Kabataan ang Pag-asa ng Bayan!
Kudooosss, AFONHIANS!!!!

Project Gabay Sisonians: Aksyon para sa Kinabukasan✨

"Pitong Sabado. Isang Layunin. Dalawampu’t Walong Pangarap."

February 15, 2025 || First day of 2025 Municipal Training-Workshop on Project MIMO (Mathematical Investigations and Modeling)

Math-ibay ang loob, Math-atag ang isip—tara, mag-MIMO tayo kasama ang STEM Club!

As the STEM Club officers, we don’t just crunch numbers—we create impact! Organizing the 2025 Municipal Training-Workshop on Project MIMO was more than just an event; it was a mission to explore the power of Mathematical Investigations and Modelling in real-world problem-solving.

From insightful discussions to hands-on activities, every session proved that math isn’t just on paper—it’s in the way we think, analyze, and innovate. A huge thank you to our incredible resource speaker, Mr. Ronald Aquino, and our dedicated project proponents, Sir Mark Jaybee S. Biano and Ma’am Jonaliza M. Lim. Of course, this wouldn’t be possible without the support of Ma’am Myrna Bell C. Uy and all the participants who made this workshop a success.

The numbers may end, but our pursuit of knowledge never does. See you in the next equation-filled adventure!

Project STAR || January 24, 2025

The three-day workshop, "Innovate, Research, Communicate: A STEM Training Workshop 2025," has come to a meaningful end, leaving every student motivated and prepared for new challenges led by the dedication of Mr. Jaybee S. Biano (STEM Club Adviser/Project Proponent), with the support of Dr. Norma Patron (Head Teacher III) and Dr. Maria Cristina Padilla (Assistan Principal II/OIC-Office of the Principal), and the hard work of the STEM Club officers, this event was a remarkable success.

It began on Day 1 with Mr. Robin Ace T. De Guzman’s session “From Classroom to Career: How Capstone Projects Transform STEM Education.” He encouraged students to stay curious and emphasized the importance of confidence and teamwork.

On Day 2, Dr. Jeger Paragas gave advice in his session, “Mastering the Research Process: From Literature Review to Data Analysis in STEM.” He taught students how to approach their projects with focus.

Finally, Day 3 brought three unforgettable lessons. Mr. Gilbert T. Biano, Jr.'s session on "Strategies for Managing Stress and Anxiety among Students" shared ways to manage stress and anxiety, encouraging students to embrace self-love and self-care. He inspired everyone to believe in themselves, saying, “Never, never, never, I LOVE MYSELF!” Mr. Rhoi B. Siploc, with his topic titled, "Innovate with Integrity: The Role of Hypothesis Formulation and Ethics in STEM Research," reminded students to value honesty and ethics in their work, stating, “Research without integrity is a fleeting success.” Lastly, Fire Officer Abelardo S. Mayugba wrapped up the workshop by teaching students how to confidently share their ideas, stating in his session, “From Paper to Presentation: Mastering the Art of Communicating Scientific Findings,” that communication is the key to bridging the gap.

This workshop became more than just a learning experience—it was a celebration of curiosity, learning, and teamwork. Thanks to Mr. Mark Jaybee S. Biano and everyone who contributed, the lessons and inspiration gained will continue to guide the students of AFONHS on their journey in STEM.

The 3-day event was hosted by equally brilliant students - Miss Avenelle Vien Gomez (STEM Club President) and Mr. Adrian Narciza (STEM Club Auditor)
