“𝐈𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐇𝐚𝐤𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐚 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐩: 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰 𝐒𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝟏 ”

On January 24, 2025, Alejandro F. Oligan National High School became a hub of hope and ambition as students from different schools across the municipality of Sison gathered for the Day 1 Review Session 2026 for the upcoming DOST Scholarship Examination. The session was led by 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟. 𝐑𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐝 𝐀𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐨, an MS Mathematics professor from DMMSU, whose guidance inspired confidence, clarity, and determination among the participants.

This meaningful academic gathering was made possible through the leadership and support of Dr. Maria Cristina D. Padilla, school head, together with the dedicated proponents Sir Gilberto Biano, Ma’am Jonaliza Bautista, Ma’am Cecilla Sammat Lalata, and Sir Jaybee Biano. Their commitment to education empowered young minds to dream bigger, aim higher, and believe that excellence is within reach.

More than just a review session, this event marked the beginning of many journeys toward brighter futures, a true testament to the power of unity, service, and Filipino excellence.

Once a STEM Leader, Now a DOST Scholar

The AFONHS-STEM Club congratulates Mr. Bryan Justine A. Rodriguez(STEM Batch 2023 Alumnus and Former STEM Club Vice-President) for successfully passing the 2025 Department of Science and Technology - Junior Level Science Scholarship.

Mr. Rodriguez is also one of the participants during the naSCIyaat JLSS Examination Review initiative developed by the Department of Science and Technology Regional Office No. 1 (DOST Region 1) and in collaboration with co-project proponent - Mark Jaybee S. Biano, conducted last July 2025 via online platform.

Your remarkable achievement brings honor not only to yourself but also to the entire Alejandro F. Oligan National High School - STEM community headed by Dr. Norma B. Patron (Head Teacher III) and Dr. Maria Cristina D. Padilla (OIC-Office of the Principal). It stands as a shining example of what passion, hard work, and quality education can achieve.
