Singapore cannot afford to sit out the AI revolution. But in our race towards progress, we cannot forget what makes us human.

In Magnifica Humanitas, Pope Leo XIV reminds us that people are not resources to be optimised. They are persons with an inherent dignity that cannot be measured, automated, or replaced.

The future is not just about building smarter technology. It's about ensuring we remain deeply human while doing so.

The Volunteer Radio Association (VRA), Thailand, sends our heartfelt support to the people of the Philippines after the recent earthquake in Mindanao.

Our thoughts are with the affected families, emergency responders, volunteers, and all communities working through this difficult time.

We also send our special encouragement to Filipino amateur radio operators who may be supporting communication, coordination, and community resilience during this emergency.

In times of disaster, radio amateurs around the world share the same spirit: service, preparedness, and solidarity.

Thailand stands with the Philippines.

Stay safe. Stay strong.

IMPACTFUL CHRISTIANS IN THE WORLD There are Christians and then there are Christians. The truth is that whilst many may see themselves as “Christians,” there are vast differences in beliefs, interpretations, practices, devotions, and commitment.

LIVING A BLESSED LIFE ENTAILS SERVING GOD AS OUR LORD All of us seek happiness in life, yet few of us have found it. Why?

Sunday 7 June 2026
The Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ

Jesus said to the crowd:
‘I am the living bread which has come down from heaven.
Anyone who eats this bread will live for ever;
and the bread that I shall give is my flesh,
for the life of the world.’
Then the Jews started arguing with one another: ‘How can this man give us his flesh to eat?’ they said. Jesus replied:
‘I tell you most solemnly,
if you do not eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood,
you will not have life in you.
Anyone who does eat my flesh and drink my blood
has eternal life,
and I shall raise him up on the last day.
For my flesh is real food
and my blood is real drink.
He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood
lives in me
and I live in him.
As I, who am sent by the living Father,
myself draw life from the Father,
so whoever eats me will draw life from me.
This is the bread come down from heaven;
not like the bread our ancestors ate:
they are dead,
but anyone who eats this bread will live for ever.’

On this feast of Corpus Christ (7 June), come and spend time with the Lord in Adoration.

In the Eucharist, we profess our faith in the Real Presence of Christ — truly present, Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity. In the silence of Adoration, we open our hearts to His love, listen to His voice, and rest in His presence.

Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament: 2pm
Guided Holy Hour with Benediction: 3pm
Venue: Church of Christ the King

PROCLAIM THE GOSPEL, WELCOME OR UNWELCOME “Beware of the scribes that like to walk about in long robes, to be greeted obsequiously in the market squares, to take the front seats in the synagogue and the places of honour at banquets; these are the men that swallow the property of widows, while maki...

ONE GOD IN THREE PERSONS.

Today, we celebrate the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity—the central mystery of our Christian faith. God is One, yet exists eternally as three distinct Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

As the Catechism teaches: "The mystery of the Most Holy Trinity is the central mystery of Christian faith and life" (CCC 234). The Father creates, the Son redeems, and the Holy Spirit sanctifies, united in perfect love and communion.

Through Baptism, we are welcomed into the life of the Trinity and called to reflect that divine love in our families, communities, and daily lives.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit; as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

Pentecost

In the evening of the first day of the week, the doors were closed in the room where the disciples were, for fear of the Jews. Jesus came and stood among them. He said to them, ‘Peace be with you’, and showed them his hands and his side. The disciples were filled with joy when they saw the Lord, and he said to them again, ‘Peace be with you.
‘As the Father sent me,
so am I sending you.’
After saying this he breathed on them and said:
‘Receive the Holy Spirit.
For those whose sins you forgive,
they are forgiven;
for those whose sins you retain,
they are retained.’

When it comes to dating, not every red flag means you should immediately walk away but not every uneasy feeling should be ignored either. Sometimes, we become so attached to someone’s potential that we overlook who they are in the present. We hold onto the hope that with enough love, patience, or time, things will eventually change. But love should never require you to constantly sacrifice your peace, ignore your boundaries, or carry emotional burdens that were never yours to fix.

Part of dating is learning discernment: understanding the difference between imperfections that require grace and patterns that slowly break your spirit. Some people simply need patience, communication, and room to grow. But some behaviours are not yours to fix or carry. And sometimes, one of the most loving things you can do for yourself is to stop holding onto who someone could be, and honestly accept who they are showing themselves to be.
