I’ve been applying as a Virtual Assistant since 2016 through OnlineJobs.ph.
This role has always been my dream.😇🥹

I joined many VA groups, self-studied and enrolled in online VA courses. After years of trying and facing closed doors, I slowly lost hope.😔

In 2019, after feeling discouraged from the VA path, I tried applying as an ESL teacher—and I was hired right away. It wasn’t the dream I originally prayed for, but it became God’s provision during that season. I was able to work from home, care for my children, and support my family.

In 2024, the desire to become a VA returned.
I studied again, prayed harder, and by God’s grace, I landed my first VA client in April 2024 but, after four months, the job ended.💔

I prayed again for another VA job, with fixed weekends off, a non-voice role, better income, and stability—yet the door still closed.😔

This journey taught me that no matter how much we want something, if God doesn’t want us to stay there, we can’t force it.

“Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.”
Proverbs 19:21

Now I understand—God wants me to focus on being an ESL teacher. The schedule is flexible, the management is kind and respectful, and has decent hourly pay. ♥️🥰

It may not be my dream job, but it is where God has placed me. Thank you, Lord 😇
