Solano, Nueva Vizcaya โ Four campus journalists from Aggub Elementary School earned top spots in the District Schools Press Conference held yesterday, September 29, 2025, at Solano East Central School - ISC, qualifying them to represent Solano I District in the upcoming Division Schools Press Conference.
During the District level awarding ceremony, Danica M. Chinamling secured 1st Place in Editorial Writing (Filipino) under the guidance of Ms. Chastine B. Ramos, while Art Dominic A. Dumalanta also clinched 1st Place in Science and Technology Writing (Filipino) with Mrs. Maribel L. Carreon. Adding to the schoolโs achievements, Kim Alliahnars N. Pablo earned 3rd Place in Editorial Writing (English), and Adriel Dave S. Perez captured 2nd Place in Copyreading and Headline Writing (English), both coached by Ms. Chastine B. Ramos. These four young journalists will advance to the Division Schools Press Conference to showcase their skills at the next level of competition.
Other AES representatives likewise brought pride to the school with commendable performances. Warren A. Padasdao placed 4th in Sports Writing (English) under Mrs. Irish Lorraine G. Ruiz, Raniel T. Balbin ranked 4th in Editorial Cartooning (Filipino) coached by Mrs. Helen B. Queja, and Angel Faith T. Lopez secured 5th in News Writing (English) with Mrs. Genoveva P. Castillo.
The school also recognized its other participants: Cedy Barrientos (Feature Writing โ English), Althea Domingo (Feature Writing โ Filipino), Ethan Rhye Queja (Copyreading and Headline Writing โ Filipino), Princess Lhaira Siupan (Sports Writing โ Filipino), Jayco Asuncion (News Writing โ Filipino), Arjiel Pua and Jaye Anna Cabreros (Editorial Cartooning โ English & Filipino), and Irvinn John Gutierrez (Science and Technology Writing โ English).
With these accomplishments, Aggub ES continues to nurture talented campus journalists, building confidence, skills, and pride as they carry the name of their school and district onto bigger stages.
