Tucal Elementary School Holds Career Guidance Program
Tucal Elementary School successfully conducted its Career Guidance Program to inspire and motivate learners to start thinking about their future careers on Friday, October 10, 2025, at the Brgy. Tucal Multi-Purpose Hall.

The celebration began with a colorful parade, where students enthusiastically showcased their chosen professions in creative and vibrant costumes.

Following the parade, a short program took place, featuring an inspiring message from Kagawad Madelyn Dizon. In her speech, she encouraged the young learners to dream big and to start working toward their goals as early as now.

A highlight of the event was the career modeling presentation, where each grade level proudly displayed their career-themed outfits. From doctors and teachers to engineers and police officers, the students confidently represented various professions.

To recognize creativity and effort, top three participants were awarded as First, Second, and Third Placers.

The Career Guidance Program was a meaningful and fun way for students to explore their interests and start envisioning their futures.

Respect means treating others the way you want to be treated. At school, this looks like listening when someone is speaking, using kind words, and valuing everyone's differences. Let's work together to build a positive and respectful learning environment—every voice matters!

Tucal Elementary School Learners Receive Life-Saving Vaccinations

Tucal, August 13, 2025 – Grade 1 learners and Grade 4 female learners of Tucal Elementary School recently received essential vaccinations as part of the Department of Health’s school-based immunization program.

The vaccines provided protection against preventable diseases such as Tetanus, Diphtheria, Measles, and Rubella. In addition, Grade 4 female learners were given the HPV vaccine, which helps prevent cervical cancer later in life.

This health initiative aims to safeguard school-aged children from serious illnesses and promote their overall well-being. Health workers and school officials worked closely to ensure the safety and comfort of the children throughout the vaccination process.

The Local Government Unit (LGU) health team was composed of:

Juliet P. Crisostomo, Midwife III

Grace Ann V. Galamay, Midwife I

Tanyalyn E. Salvador, Nurse I

Jojo B. Geronimo, HPO I

Parents were informed ahead of time and provided their consent, contributing to the program’s success. Through this initiative, Tucal Elementary School continues to demonstrate its commitment to the health and safety of its students.

Learning Continues at Tucal Elementary School Despite Class Suspension

July 23, 2025 – Tucal, Philippines

Despite the suspension of classes due to unfavorable weather conditions, learning continues at Tucal Elementary School as teachers implement alternative modes of instruction to ensure students stay on track with their studies.

In response to the heavy rains and safety concerns, the school has temporarily halted face-to-face classes. However, the dedicated teaching staff, led by their respective advisers, have distributed activity sheets to students before the suspension or through coordinated pick-up schedules.

Parents and guardians have also played a vital role, assisting their children in completing the modules and ensuring that learning remains uninterrupted despite the challenges posed by the weather.

School officials expressed their commitment to maintaining education continuity and emphasized the importance of safety above all. Once weather conditions improve and it is deemed safe, in-person classes are expected to resume.
