This is the official page of Jesus Is Lord Church Solsona (JILC-Solsona,Ilocos Norte), or more commonly known as (JIL), is a Christian megachurch based in Ilocos Region. HISTORY:
The Jesus Is Lord Church (JIL) began in 1978 when Eddie Villanueva, a former atheist, activist, and professor, gathered with 15 Bible study members at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (then known as Philippine College of Commerce). As professor of Economics and Finance at the university, Villanueva preached the Gospel to his students. From 15 students, JIL has grown to over one million members and has planted churches all over the Philippines and in other countries in neighboring Asian countries, Europe, Australasia, the Americas, the Middle East, and Africa. JIL is also reaching many millions more through its TV, radio, literature, video ministries, ICare, the JIL Christian Schools/JIL Colleges Foundation, Inc. There are over one million members in 60 countries as of 2023.]Most members abroad are overseas Filipino workers and their families. Originating in Manila as JILCW (Jesus Is Lord Church Worldwide), it now holds its main services in Ortigas Center, Polytechnic University of the Philippines-Manila, Greenhills, San Juan, and Bocaue, Bulacan. Today marks our final Sunday of the month, and what an incredible journey it has been unpacking our theme: "Breakthrough: Discipline That Empowers."

We learned that true breakthrough isn't just a one-time emotional momentβ€”it is built daily through holy discipline. When we surrender our habits to God, His grace empowers us to break old cycles, overcome obstacles, and walk into the fullness of His promises! πŸ’ͺπŸ“–

We want to give a massive shoutout and thank you to JILSN Church Pastor Rev. Ptr. Efrael Espiritu for returning to our pulpit this morning. Your message was the perfect exclamation point to this powerful month of teaching! We are deeply grateful to you Pastor for coming back to preach at JIL Solsona today. Every time you step onto our stage, our church is challenged, encouraged, and drawn closer to God. Thank you for your obedience to the Holy Spirit and for delivering a message that truly spoke to our season. We leave the sanctuary this morning refreshed and ready to live out the Word!

Our hearts break for the communities devastated by the catastrophic flash floods along the Nepal-Tibet border. Following a sudden and massive glacial collapse, a torrent of mud and water tore through the Himalayas, leaving at least 165 dead and over 1,000 people missing, including many international travelers.

Let us stand together as a church family to lift up this critical situation in prayer:

Pray for the missing: Ask God for divine protection over the hundreds of locals and tourists trapped or unaccounted for.

Pray for rescue teams: Pray for supernatural strength, wisdom, and safety for the emergency workers navigating hazardous terrain in the dark.

Pray for comfort: Lift up the families who are anxiously waiting for news of their loved ones amidst the devastation.

When we allow God to discipline our hearts and habits, He is simply pruning away what holds us back so we can bear greater fruit. A beautiful Sunday of healing, worship, and legacy. ❀️

Looking back at our service last August 23, we are deeply grateful for how God moved. He broke chains and brought physical restoration during the healing service, and then melted our hearts through the precious special number by our children. God is truly securing the future of His church!

Our August 15 Saturday Prayer Meeting was a powerful time of drawing near to God and anchoring our hearts in His promises. As a church family, we gathered to intercede for our community, speak breakthrough over our families, and completely surrender the rest of this month into His hands.
