Ngayong araw nag withdraw si Lee ng kanyang kandidatura sa pagka Senador sa halalan sa 2025.

📢 Class Suspension Announcement
(February 10, 2025, 4:30 AM)

Due to the Yellow Heavy Rainfall Warning issued by PAGASA over Sorsogon and the possibility of localized flooding, face-to-face classes in our school are suspended today for the safety of our learners. Instead, we will shift to asynchronous learning.

Teachers are advised to provide learners with tasks that will help them prepare for the 3rd Quarterly Examination.

Everyone is encouraged to stay safe and take necessary precautions. Please be guided accordingly.

JUST IN: Albay 1st district representative Edcel Lagman passed away

Grex Lagman statement:

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, Albay First District Representative and Liberal Party President Edcel C. Lagman.

He left this world the way he lived his life – with integrity, compassion, and fearlessness. He fought until the end with the dogged determination, tenacity, and unshakable hopefulness that defined all that he stood for.

He will be remembered and honored by his family, friends, and colleagues as a remarkable and generous father; a warm, thoughtful and loving brother, uncle and lolo; a true and loyal friend; and an upright, principled, and unwavering advocate of human rights and the rule of law.

He will live on in our hearts and we will continue to honor his memory by living our lives the way that would make him proud.

At his final peaceful moments, he was surrounded by all his children, sisters, and family members.

He came into this world on 01 May 1942 and left it for a better place on 30 January 2025 at exactly 5:01 in the afternoon due to cardiac arrest.

JUST IN: 70 anyos na lola ginahasa at pinatay sa Sorsogon City. Dalawa (2) sa apat na suspek naaresto ng mga otoridad.

Tumanggi munang pangalanan ng otoridad ang dalawang (2) suspek sa panggagahasa at pagpatay sa 70 taong gulang na lola.

Matatandaan na natagpuan ang hubo't hubad na katawan ng biktima sa ibabaw ng nitso sa Sorsogon Catholic Cemetery, Barangay Almendras, Sorsogon City kahapon ng umaga, Enero 19, 2025.

Sa impormasyon, inamin ng isang suspek na isa sa kanyang kasamahan ang humanpas ng bato sa ulo ng biktima.

Ang biktima ay residente ng Barangay Balogo, Sorsogon City.

Ang pagbabayad ng SRI sa lahat ng kwalipikadong empleyado ng gobyerno ay hindi dapat mas maaga kaysa sa 15 Disyembre 2024. Ngunit ngayon ay ika-16 na ng Enero 2025 ay wala pa rin.

Ayon pa sa source, humigit kumulang 500 empleyado (permanent at casual) ng lungsod ang hindi pa nakakatanggap ng SRI.

SM Megamall has released an official statement about the viral incident at Fashion Hall involving a young girl in school uniform and a security guard of the mall.

"We regret and sympathize with the young girl who experienced an unfortunate incident outside our mall.

"We have called the attention of the security agency to conduct an immediate and thorough investigation.

"The Security Guard has been dismissed and will no longer be allowed to service any of our malls.

"As SM Supermalls always promotes inclusivity for all, we strongly condemn this act committed against her."

Matatanggap na ng bawat kawani ng LGU Gubat, Sorsogon ang P20,000.00 na Service Recognition Incentive (SRI), ngunit walang matatanggap na ‘Gratuity Pay’ ang mga Job Order employees.

Sa Appropriation Ordinance No. 2024-010 na inaprubahan ng Sangguniang Bayan ng Gubat noong Disyembre 24, 2024 ang P3,080,000.00 sa lahat ng Muncipal Officials at empleyado batay sa Administrative Order No. 27, s. 2024 nitong Disyembre 12, 2024.

Sa impormasyon, may 12 elective officials, 135 permanent employees at 6 Casual ang LGU Gubat, Sorsogon. Samantalang meron namang 189 Job Orders as of December 31, 2024 ang nasabing lokal na pamahalaan.

Matatandaan na naglabas si Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. ng administrative order (AO) na nagpapahintulot sa pagbibigay ng Service Recognition Incentive (SRI) sa mga kwalipikadong tauhan ng gobyerno para sa taon ng pananalapi 2024, kabilang ang mga g**o at militar at unipormadong tauhan, na bawat isa ay tatanggap ng PHP20,000 .

Sa ilalim ng AO 27 na pinirmahan ni Marcos, ang isang beses na SRI ay ibibigay sa mga civilian personnel sa mga national government agencies (NGAs); mga tauhan ng militar at pulisya; mga tauhan ng bumbero at kulungan sa ilalim ng Department of the Interior and Local Government; at mga tauhan ng Bureau of Corrections, Philippine Coast Guard, at National Mapping and Resource Information Authority.

Ang SRI ay ipagkakaloob sa mga sibilyang tauhan sa NGAs, kabilang ang mga nasa state universities and colleges (SUCs) at mga korporasyong pag-aari at kontrolado ng gobyerno, na may regular, kontraktwal o kaswal na posisyon.

Ang SRI ay maaari ding ibigay sa mga empleyado ng mga local government units (LGUs), kabilang ang mga nasa baryo, depende sa kakayahan sa pananalapi ng LGUs.
