October 14–15, 2025, the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management of Southern Leyte State University joined young tourism and hospitality leaders from across the country at the JTHMAP Bootcamp × J-List 2025 held at the University of the Philippines–Diliman.

With the themes “Thrive and Lead” and “Sustainovate,” the event challenged future leaders to take action—lead with purpose, innovate with integrity, and champion sustainability in tourism and hospitality.

This year’s Bootcamp was successfully conducted last 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟏𝟒-𝟏𝟓, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 𝗮𝘁 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗗𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗻 — 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴. The event was attended by various student leaders all over the Philippines.

On September 30, 2025, the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management of Southern Leyte State University conducted a community outreach program titled “Fostering Hope, Transforming Minds” at Barangay San Roque, Sogod, Southern Leyte.

The activity aimed to promote learning, compassion, and community engagement among local Day Care pupils, reflecting FHTM’s commitment to education, service, and sustainable development.
