🎗️GOLD FOR EVERY CHILD. HOPE FOR EVERY HEART🎗️
September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month💛
Behind every diagnosis is a child with dreams, a family learning to be strong, and a community that can choose to stand beside them.
Globally, around 400,000 children are diagnosed with cancer every year—about 3 children every 4 minutes.
In the Philippines, an estimated 3,500–5,000 children are diagnosed each year, or roughly 10–12 children every day.
But childhood cancer is not just a number....It is a child bravely facing treatment....It is a parent holding on to hope....It is a family praying for more tomorrows....And it is a community coming together to say: You are not alone.
🎗️ THE GOLD RIBBON
Gold represents our children—the precious treasures of every family and every community. This month, let the gold ribbon remind us to raise awareness, show compassion, support families, and help make quality cancer care accessible to every child.
HOW CAN WE HELP?
1. Wear gold and start a conversation.
2. Share stories of courage, hope, and survivorship.
3. Support organizations and programs providing childhood cancer care.
4. Encourage early consultation and appropriate referral.
5. Most importantly, stand with children and families facing cancer.
Every child deserves a chance to grow, dream, play, and live. Every family deserves hope. And every child battling cancer deserves to know that an entire community cares.
This September, let’s go GOLD🎗️For every brave little warrior. For every family. For every tomorrow. Together, we can turn awareness into action and compassion into hope.
