𝗕𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗔 | 𝘽𝙐𝙒𝘼𝙉 𝙉𝙂 𝙒𝙄𝙆𝘼 𝙄𝙋𝙄𝙉𝘼𝙂𝘿𝙄𝙒𝘼𝙉𝙂 𝙉𝙂 𝙈𝙂𝘼 𝙈𝙊𝙉𝙏𝙀𝙎𝙎𝙊𝙍𝙄𝘼𝙉

Batay sa temang "Wika at AI: Kasangkapan sa Pananaliksik at Tulay sa Yaman ng Impormasyon" nagsagawa ng simpleng selebrasyon ng Buwan ng Wika ang Southbay Montessori School and Colleges, Inc. Agosto 28.

Nagkaroon ng patimpalak gaya ng paggawa ng Digital Poster (Digister), pagsulat at pagbigkas ng tula (Bigkas), paggawa ng slogan (Sining Galing), pagguhit ng Sining sa Bilao at Abaniko, at Tagisan ng Talino (TNT) na nilahukan ng mga mag-aaral mula pre-elementarya hanggang kolehiyo.

Alinsunod sa Proklamasyon 1041, s. 1997, ang Buwan ng Wika ay ipinagdiriwang mula Agosto 1 hanggang 31 na pinangungunahan ng Komisyon ng Wikang Filipino (KWF).

Kinikilala ng tema ng taon na ito ang magkaugnay na papel ng wikang Filipino at Artificial Intelligence (AI) para sa makabansang gawain ng pananaliksik. Hinihikayat din nito ang responsableng paggamit ng AI.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦: 𝙎𝘽𝙈𝙎𝘾𝙄 𝙃𝙊𝙎𝙏𝙎 𝙏𝙃𝙀 2026 𝙄𝙉𝙏𝙀𝙍𝙋𝙍𝙄𝙑𝘼𝙏𝙀 𝙎𝙋𝙊𝙍𝙏𝙎 𝘾𝙊𝙈𝙋𝙀𝙏𝙄𝙏𝙄𝙊𝙉 - 𝙏𝙀𝘼𝙈 𝙀𝙇𝙄𝙈𝙄𝙉𝘼𝙏𝙄𝙊𝙉𝙎, 𝘼𝙐𝙂𝙐𝙎𝙏 22-23.

Delegates from Southbay Montessori School and Colleges, Inc. ACTS Computer College, Philippine Women's University - CDCDEC, and Immaculate Concepcion Catholic School - Santa Cruz competed in team sports such as basketball, volleyball, and sepak takraw. The event determined the participants for the upcoming Santa Cruz District Meet.

𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗦 | 𝙎𝘽𝙈𝙎𝘾𝙄 𝙑𝘼𝙇𝙄𝘼𝙉𝙏𝙎 𝘿𝙊𝙈𝙄𝙉𝘼𝙏𝙀𝙎 𝙄𝘾𝘾𝙎 𝙄𝙉 5𝙓5 𝙈𝙀𝙉'𝙎 𝘽𝘼𝙎𝙆𝙀𝙏𝘽𝘼𝙇𝙇

SBMSCI Men's Basketball team took the lead against ICCS during the team's second game in the 2026 Interprivate Sports Competition - Team Elimination, August 22.

The Valiants marked their victory with an outstanding 80-57 score.

𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 | 𝘽𝘼𝙔𝘽𝘼𝙔𝙄𝙉 𝙅𝙊𝙐𝙍𝙉𝘼𝙇𝙄𝙎𝙏𝙎 𝘾𝙊𝙈𝙋𝙀𝙏𝙀 𝙄𝙉 𝘿𝙄𝙎𝙏𝙍𝙄𝘾𝙏-𝙇𝙀𝙑𝙀𝙇 𝘾𝘼𝙈𝙋𝙐𝙎 𝙅𝙊𝙐𝙍𝙉𝘼𝙇𝙄𝙎𝙈 𝙀𝙑𝙀𝙉𝙏

In preparation for the upcoming Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC) , elementary campus journalists of Southbay Montessori School and Colleges, Inc. (SBMSCI) participates in the District Elementary Campus Media and Research Conference for School Publication Advisers and Young Journalists, August 8 and 15, Santa Cruz, Laguna.

The two-day event was held at San Jose Elementary School and was participated by elementary students from both public and private schools in Santa Cruz.

Winners of the said event will be trained and will represent the sub-office in the upcoming Division Schools Press Conference on September 7-8.

Congratulations to the following montessorians who successfully passed the journalism placement tests and audition held on August 3, 2026 at Southbay Montessori School and Colleges, Inc.

These students are now official members of the school publication for the academic year 2026-2027.

According to the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) below are what those warning means.

🟡 𝙔𝙀𝙇𝙇𝙊𝙒 - Monitor the weather condition, affected areas may experience heavy rain and flooding is possible.
🟠 𝙊𝙍𝘼𝙉𝙂𝙀 - Be alert for possible evacuation, affected areas may experience intense rain and flooding is threatening.
🔴 𝙍𝙀𝘿 - Evacuate and take precautionary measures, affected areas may experience torrential rain, severe flooding is expected.

The official student publication of Southbay Montessori School and Colleges, Inc. is now registered under CALABARZON Regional Registry of Official Schol Papers and obtained its Unique Official Registration Number (UORN) in compliance with RM No. 444, s. 2026.

The registration proves the legitimacy and authenticity of the school paper for upcoming campus journalism activities and press conferences. The UORN will also serve as a primary requirement for Reconfigured Regional Press Conference (RRSPC) events and submission processes.

With this registration, the Baybayin Publications swears to continue to write for the truth and be the voice of the unheard.
