To be able to inspire others with the same struggle and to give awareness. To all special kids and awesome parents my salute to all of you guys for not giving up, even in the toughest and lowest point of our lives. Lets just keep fighting 💪 and show support to each other. Ang sakit lang talaga… kasi hindi sa lahat ng oras nakatutok lagi ang mata mo sa kanya. Sa dami ng ginagawa, tapos bigla na lang syang umiyak hindi masabi kung saan o ano ang masakit, hindi rin maturo 💔 After an hour, ganyan na siya... My heart is aching and I really feel bad. She’s 5 years old, diagnosed with ASD and non-verbal. Ganito kahirap mag-alaga ng batang may ASD, they don’t have a sense of danger and are very prone to accidents.

Another House bill filed for Autism support. ❤️🙏

Bacolod District Rep. Alfredo Abelardo Benitez files Autism support bill. It would provide support to 1.2 million Filipinos including 350,000 children living with autism.
House bill 3379, or the National Autism Program bill. It will provide a regular stipend of 4,000 pesos to families with autism under the Autism support allowance program of DSWD.
* Free assessments : free developmental assessments for all children up to age five.
* Free Therapy : Free Occupational therapy, speech and behavioral therapy in Department of health hospitals.
* Free medication for those diagnosed with level 3 Autism.
* National Autism Center under the DOH to conduct research, training and manage data in Autism.
* Support for families. It aims to alleviate the financial burden on families by making these services accessible and affordable.

Tandaan, ang pagkakaroon ng isa o ilang katangian sa listahang ito ay hindi nangangahulugang may autism na agad ang isang bata. Ngunit kung napapansin mong may ganitong mga senyales, mas mabuting kumonsulta kaagad sa isang espesyalista tulad ng developmental pediatrician, child psychologist, o speech-language pathologist upang masuri nang maaga at mabigyan ng angkop na interbensyon.
