🌿 A Story That Will Touch Your Soul… Please Read Till the End. 🌿
💔 You never know what someone is going through.
A doctor rushed into the hospital. He had been urgently called in for surgery. Without delay, he changed into scrubs and headed straight to the operating room.
In the hallway, a man — the father of the patient — was waiting anxiously. As soon as he saw the doctor, he burst out:
💢 "Why did you take so long? Don’t you realize my son’s life is in danger? Where’s your sense of responsibility?"
The doctor smiled gently and replied,
🩺 “I’m truly sorry… I came as fast as I could. I wasn’t at the hospital when I got the call. Please, let me do my job now.”
Still angry, the father snapped:
🔥 “If it was your son in there, would you stay calm? What would you do if he died?!”
The doctor looked at him kindly and said:
🙏 “I would say what is written in the Holy Book: ‘From dust we came, and to dust we return. Blessed be the name of God.’ We do everything we can, but we are not the ones who control life.”
The father murmured under his breath,
😞 “It’s easy to say that when it’s not your child…”
The surgery went on for hours. Finally, the doctor came out smiling,
💖 “Your son is safe.”
And just like that, he left — quickly, without answering a single question.
The father, confused and upset, said to the nurse:
🤷♂️ “Why is he in such a hurry? He couldn’t even wait for a moment?”
The nurse, with tears in her eyes, softly replied:
🌧 “His only son died yesterday in a road accident. He was at the burial when we called him. Now that he saved your son's life… he’s gone to bury his own child.”
😢 Let that sink in.
We so often judge people without knowing their battles.
💔 Behind a smile could be pain.
