𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟮: 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝗸𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝗙𝘂𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗲𝘀!

On November 25, 2025, the NEMCO College Library continued its celebration of Bookweek 2025 with engaging activities throughout the day. The morning featured a lively Selfie Post event, giving students a chance to capture their love for books, while the afternoon highlighted a creative Logo Design competition, showcasing the artistic talents of participants.

DAY 2: 𝗖𝗜𝗧 𝗪𝗘𝗘𝗞 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘄𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗩𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗧 𝗚𝗼𝘁 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘄𝗰𝗮𝘀𝗲

The College of Information Technology kicked off CIT WEEK 2025 with an energetic afternoon Dance Variety Show featuring performances from Tech Sphere, Neutral Link, Hyper Vision, Digi Spark, Quantum Core, Cyber Nexus, Data Voyager, and Nano Drive, followed by an exciting evening IT Got Talent showcase at the NEMCO Quadrangle, highlighting the creativity and versatility of CIT students.

𝗧𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗡𝘂𝗲𝘃𝗮: A Bayanihan Drive

A recent fire struck our neighbors in Barangay Nueva, P. Reyes, Surigao City, leaving many families with nothing. In this difficult time, we appeal to the generosity and compassion of our community. We are organizing a relief drive to provide essential support and comfort, especially for NEMCO students affected by the fire, as these families begin the challenging journey of rebuilding their lives.

We sincerely call for donations of the following essential items:

Clothes (Damit): Any clean and usable clothes for all ages, including undergarments.

Blankets and Towels (Kumot at Tuwalya)

Basic Needs: Non-perishable food, hygiene kits, water, and other necessities.

Every contribution, big or small, is a meaningful act of bayanihan that directly helps our neighbors regain strength and hope.

𝗖𝗘𝗔𝗦 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴

On November 24, 2025, students of the College of Education, Arts and Sciences (CEAS) gathered for an important meeting led by Dr. Edwin T. Montalba, Vice President for Academic Affairs. The session tackled the new class schedule, early enrollment procedures, and other essential academic updates. AB students attended from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., while BSED and BEED students joined from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Faculty members were asked to take note and provide necessary support for any class requirements students missed during the meeting.

𝗥𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝗻’𝘁 𝗥𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗜𝗧 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸’𝘀 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗙𝘂𝗻!

On November 24, 2025, the College of Information Technology officially kicked off CIT Week at NEMCO, and not even heavy rain could stop the students’ excitement. The morning was filled with fun and engaging activities that brought everyone together, while the afternoon program had to be postponed due to a low-pressure area. Despite this, the booths remained open, keeping students fed and entertained, and proving that a little rain could never dampen the energy and camaraderie that marked the start of this much-anticipated week.

𝗡𝗘𝗠𝗖𝗢 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝟵𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸

The NEMCO College Library marked the first day of the 91st National Book Week on November 24, 2025, celebrating the theme “Tulay ang Pagbasa sa Bukas na Puno ng Pag-asa.” The venue was adorned with creative decorations and hosted meaningful activities that encouraged students to view reading as a bridge toward a brighter and more hopeful future. The library personnel efficiently managed the day’s program, while students from various departments actively and willingly participated in the activities prepared for the opening celebration.

𝗢𝗹𝗱 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲𝘀, 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

In this fast-changing world of technology and social media, the essence of being Filipino faces a quiet challenge. Every November of the year, Filipino Values Month is observed as declared under Proclamation No. 479, series of 1994. It symbolizes reminding one of the virtues that mark the Filipino people: faith in God, love of country, respect for others, and the spirit of bayanihan. However, beyond the programs and slogans, it really aims at rekindling these values in the lives of each citizen.

𝗖𝗘𝗔𝗦 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗮𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗚𝗮𝗹𝗮 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁

The College of Education, Arts, and Sciences closed its College Days celebration with a spectacular Gala Night, ending the week-long festivities with a blast as students showcased their talent, style, and achievements through awards, modeling, certificate presentations, and a raffle draw. The highlight of the evening was the announcement of the overall champions, with ZAIA taking the top spot, followed by A'TIN as 1st runner-up, BLOOMS as 2nd runner-up, ACES as 3rd runner-up, VIXIES as 4th runner-up, and ANCHOR as 5th runner-up, capping off a memorable and exciting finale for CEAS Days 2025.
