Every now and then, we all need a moment to pause. A moment to breathe, to share, and to listen.

Last September 5, 2025 the 𝑱𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒐𝒓 𝑷𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒑𝒑𝒊𝒏𝒆 𝑰𝒏𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒕𝒖𝒕𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝑨𝒄𝒄𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒔 held its yearly 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗸𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗞𝗮𝗺𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗲𝘀. It was a chance to slow down and reconnect with one another.

Last August 25, 2025, in celebration of 𝑵𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝑯𝒆𝒓𝒐𝒆𝒔 𝑫𝒂𝒚, we invited our fellow 𝑱𝑷𝑰𝑨𝒏𝒔 to reflect on the lives and sacrifices of our heroes through 𝗟𝗮𝗸𝗯𝗮𝘆 - 𝗕𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻𝗶: 𝗔 𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 with the theme “𝘏𝘰𝘯𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘕𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘏𝘦𝘳𝘰𝘦𝘴, 𝘓𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘓𝘦𝘨𝘢𝘤𝘺”

🌟 From the brilliance of Dr. José Rizal, whose words awakened a nation; the courage of Andres Bonifacio, who led the fight against oppression; the wisdom of Apolinario Mabini, the “Brains of the Revolution”; the leadership of Emilio Aguinaldo, who carried the vision of independence; to the fearless spirit of Gabriela Silang, a symbol of resilience and defiance—together, their sacrifices continue to inspire generations of Filipinos. ✊

✨ 𝗟𝗲𝘁’𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 the many others who may not be as celebrated, yet whose devotion was just as unwavering—teachers who fanned the flames of knowledge, farmers who sustained the revolution, soldiers who defended our land with their lives, and ordinary men and women who chose country over self. Heroism is not confined to names etched in history books, for it also lives in the countless men and women, known and unknown, who gave their lives, voices, and strength for the nation they loved.
