Content creator Fhukerat (Kier Garcia) has released a new video detailing the circumstances behind her denied entry upon arrival in Dubai.
According to her, the issue stemmed from a discrepancy between her physical presentation and the gender indicated on her passport. She emphasized that the incident had nothing to do with her outfit, makeup, or behavior at the airport.
In her explanation, she shared:
“Hindi dahil sa pananamit ko, sa makeup ko, o sa pagiging maingay ko. Ang sinabi sa akin ng officer, ‘Your identity does not match your passport.’ Tingnan mo ako—mukha akong babae. Pero sa passport, nakasulat ‘Male.’ ‘Yun ang dahilan. Hindi dahil naka-damit ako ng pambabae.”
As of now, Dubai immigration has not issued any official statement regarding the matter. Her video has since generated extensive discussions online, particularly about identity documents and the requirements for international travel.
