Updates on 1st Fund Raising Activity “Turuparan sa Kapakuhan”

MINUTES:
The meeting started with a prayer at 2:11 in the afternoon with 22 attendees.
Dissemination of information transpired from BESGAA meeting was given by the presiding officer. These are the following to wit:
"Turuparan sa Kapaskuhan" on December 30, 2023
Bingo Socials @ 1 pm
* 3 cards for php100
* 10% of sales - bonus to the seller/batch
* 30pcs bingo cards - minimum number of cards to be issued per batch (considered as sold)
however for older batches from 1961 to 69 this is not mandatory but encouraged to participate
* 75 Pingpong balls were already printed with numbers and letters
* Tambiolo to be used will just be borrowed from Pres Cath's Office
* 1,000 pcs of cards are now complete with reference number, stamped and ready for distribution
* The alumni agreed also to prepare sponsorship letters as additional fund raising activity. Donors will be announced every after each game (free advertisement)

Grand Prize – 3,000 Black-out
1st Prize – 2,000
2nd Prize – 1,500
3rd Prize – 1,000
6 Consolation Prizes – 500 each
Beer Plaza @ 7 pm
* Still looking for possible beer supplier who is willing to offer consignment system
* Ticket available for P400 with 5 beers (PILSEN) and can be used by 5 persons during entrance
* 5 tickets worth P2000 as initial number of tickets be distributed per batch (not mandatory for batches from 1961 to 69 and those who just recently graduated
* With 10% as share for the seller or batch
* Tickets for BEER PLAZA are now ready for distribution
* Flavored Beer(apple), San Mig light and Stallion are for sale
* Plastic Sando bags will be used instead of metal/plastic bucket. Planning to borrow some buckets used by Tau Gamma.

From Batch ’62 to Batch ’69-not mandatory to share php1,000 and php2,000 from the Bingo cards and Tickets for Beer Plaza respectively.
Sound System will be rented from Danilo Condat in the amount of EIGHT THOUSAND PESOS as informed by Treas. Elena Salvacion.
There was no objection made by the attendees and was collectively agreed as the BINGO SOCIALS and BEER PLAZA presented.
Practice for caroling will be tomorrow at 2:30 pm, November 26, 2023, Cath Residence.
With regards to the proceeds of the project (Communal CR) of the event mentioned was not agreed by the School Principal due to several factors like 1) All rooms have already a CR except one room still without it; 2) Who will maintain the CR? and the like.
In line with these, the proceed stated in all communication made by the association will be changed and will not be specified anymore about communal CR.
Another information shared by the presiding officer as stated to her by the Principal of BES “pakihuron na sasaraduhan muna ang basketball court sa publiko” dahil sa minasunod na rason:
Sa series of inspection- may mga pupod, bote asin basura na nahihiling around the pavement.
RA9211 To***co Regulation Act-may mandato ang eskwelahan na kaipuhan e implement para sa kapakanan kan mga eskwela. Ini dae nasusunod dahil sa mga nabanggit na mga ebidensiya.
May mga dayo na naggagamit kan basketball court.
3:30 may naggagamit na habang may mga eskwela pa
Naipaabot na sa mga member kan SK, kaya lang dae man nauutob ang mga napaghururunan.
Pighagadan na action ang BES para magcomply kan requirement sa RA9211.
Kaya sa paagi kan association, naghahagad nin tabang ang BES para madisseminate ang impormasyon o magkaigwa nin MOA between an organization/entity and the school to use the basketball court na maipasunod ang RA9211.”
The meeting adjourned at 4:00 pm.
