๐“๐€๐๐€๐‚๐Ž ๐‚๐ˆ๐“๐˜ โ€” Vibrant splashes of color and school pride filled the streets as the Catholic Central School of Tabaco, Albay, Inc. (CCSTAI) family gathered at the campus grounds on Saturday morning, August 22, 2026, to kick off its 114th Foundation Anniversary through the Andurog Color Fun Run 2026.

Carrying the theme โ€œ1 Community, 1 Run, 4 a Cause,โ€ the event brought together students, faculty, staff, alumni, and parents in a strong display of institutional unity. Continuing a cherished campus tradition from recent years, the annual fun run once again channeled its proceeds to support the schoolโ€™s Andurog Scholars, helping ensure that deserving Centralian students continue to receive a quality Catholic education.

The activity showed that CCSTAIโ€™s 114-year legacy goes beyond academic excellence, and that the Centralian spirit shines brightest when the community moves forward together to lift up its own.

Demonstrating that faith is best witnessed through service, the Catholic Central School of Tabaco Albay, Inc. (CCSTAI) reached beyond campus borders to conduct โ€œGathering in Faith: Community Mass and Catechetical Formationโ€ in Barangay Cormidal last August 19, 2026.

Initiated by Community Extension Coordinator Ma'am Laarni Panganiban, the morning outreach brought together student volunteers from Grades 9 through 12, Student Coordinating Board (SCB) officers, faculty, staff, and the FMIJ Sisters for a purposeful morning program. Serving side-by-side in CCSTAI's adopted community, the team facilitated interactive catechetical sessions for the parents and children alike, fostering deep spiritual reflection and solidarity.

Beyond spiritual nourishment, CCSTAI also distributed essential school supplies to the young children of the community. By grounding prayer in action, the school reaffirmed that true education and learning do not remain contained within classroom walls. It steps out, meets people where they are, and illuminates entire communities with faith, compassion, and hope.

The joint exercise evaluated emergency evacuation routes, response times, and safety protocols across all departments. Students, faculty, administrative staff, and parent representatives cleared school facilities and gathered at the school grounds immediately following the alarm.

In his address to the community, the School Principal, Sir Elmer Bongon, emphasized that emergency preparedness is vital to ensuring campus resilience, noting that instinctive, well-practiced action is the school's strongest defense against unpredictable disasters.

BFP Tabaco personnel monitored the movement to assess efficiency and adherence to disaster preparedness standards, reinforcing the institution's commitment to prioritizing safety at every level.

To anchor the new academic year in faith, the Catholic Central School of Tabaco, Albay, Inc. (CCSTAI) community gathered on July 6, 2026, for the solemn Bible Enthronement ceremony for the School Year 2026โ€“2027. It served as a collective pledge to place the Sacred Scriptures at the very center of the school's spiritual and academic journey.

However, beyond the solemnity of the ceremony lies a pressing challenge: the Holy Bible is not a decorative centerpiece to be left on a pedestal, nor is it a relic to be admired from a safe distance; it is a living blueprint meant to be opened, carried, and actively written into the daily choices of each and every one of us. The true enthronement of the Word does not happen on a draped altar, but in the unwritten pages of our daily livesโ€”in the noisy corridors, the classrooms, and the hard choices where character is tested.

With the Holy Bibles formally enthroned, CCSTAI steps forward into the school year ready to prove that faith is not just a tradition to display, but a daily path to walk.

As a new academic journey unfolds, the Catholic Central School of Tabaco, Albay, Inc. (CCSTAI) community gathered on July 3, 2026, at Saint John the Baptist Parish Church for the Eucharistic Celebration of the Mass of the Holy Spirit, welcoming God's guidance and grace into the school year ahead. The solemn liturgy was presided over by Rev. Msgr. Ramon Tronqued and co-celebrated by School Director Rev. Fr. Augusto Abril, Rev. Fr. Mercurio Rivera, and Rev. Fr. Aaron Llasos. Coinciding with the Feast of Saint Thomas the Apostle, the celebration highlighted how his journey inspires Centralians to be genuine seekers of truthโ€”unafraid to ask questions, deepen their faith, and pursue true wisdom. The sacred gathering served as a powerful reminder that the Holy Spirit is always with the community, granting the strength to grow and the grace to face whatever the new school year brings.

The celebration also marked a pivotal milestone in campus leadership with the formal induction of the Student Coordinating Board (SCB) officers for A.Y. 2026โ€“2027. Stepping forward to take their oaths, the newly elected leaders pledged their commitment to servant leadership, ready to champion the student body and ignite the Centralian spirit.

With minds enkindled by truth, hearts set ablaze by the Spirit, and a fresh leadership team at the helm, CCSTAI steps boldly into another exceptional school year.
