ILIHAN INTEGRATED SCHOOL CLAIMS DISTRICT MEET OVERALL CHAMPIONSHIP

The excitement during the District Meet reached its peak as the scores were finally tallied. Ilihan Integrated School (Green Warriors) emerged as the Overall Champion of the District Meet 2024!

Students from Ilihan Integrated School showcased their incredible talents and remarkable skills across various competitions. Representing 41 members of the DLC, the Green Warriors competed in DepEd Ambassador and Ambassadress, Badminton, Arnis, Table Tennis, Taekwondo/Karate-do, Sepak Takraw, Billiards, Volleyball, and Chess, securing their well-deserved victory.

During the Sports District Meet 2024, Valerie Lequigan emerged victorious in the final round against Doรฑa Liling Neis Negapatan NHS in the Singles A Girls Category. The match was full of thrills and excitement as the players showcased their skills and techniques in playing badminton. The game consisted of only one set, with a winning score of 35 points and an interval at the 18th score.

In the early game, Valerie Lequigan had the upper hand in scoring due to her opponent's faulty services and errors, allowing her to take control of the game. As Valerie Lequigan managed to rise to the top, she delivered precise drops, clear shots, forceful drives, and powerful smashes that her opponent was unable to return, ultimately ending the match with a powerful winning smash.

Valerie Lequigan cried her heart out and jumped in joy as the umpire declared her the winner. Although both players displayed potential and skill in badminton, Valerie Lequigan proved herself worthy to represent Tabogon in the upcoming 2025 Provincial Meet. Her impressive performance has brought recognition and pride to our school.

The spotlight shone brightly on Ilihan Integrated School as its outstanding students demonstrated leadership, dedication, and school pride at the 2024 District Ambassador and Ambassadress Pageant.

With poise and confidence, each contestant shared their unique talents and passions, captivating the audience with their performances. The crowd roared with excitement, especially for the lovely candidates Sarah Jhen Jarapan and Reyzalde Povadora Jr., who proudly represented Ilihan Integrated School.

Reyzalde Povadora Jr. earned the title of 2nd Runner-up, while Sarah Jhen Jarapan secured the 3rd Runner-up position. Their impressive presentations, strong character, and genuine self-expression made them stand out. The judges awarded them these well-deserved spots during the District Meet held on November 23, 2024.

Cheers erupted from the crowd as the contestants received their titles. Special thanks to the supportive teachers, enthusiastic students, and the talented makeup artists who contributed to the success of our dear candidates. This remarkable achievement was celebrated by all who witnessed it.

To the other candidates, whether they won or not, this experience should serve as motivation for future opportunities. The District Meet serves as a reminder that leadership comes in many forms.
