📣TABONTABON SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL HOLDS FIRST QUARTER PORTFOLIO & CARD DAY! 🎓📁

A celebration of progress, creativity, and partnership marked Tabontabon SHS’s First Quarter Portfolio and Card Day, held this August 30, 2025. The event showcased the school’s commitment to transparency, excellence, and community engagement. The following are the highlights of the said event:

✨ Highlight #1: Display of Best Student Outputs

Grades 11 and 12 students proudly exhibited their top-notch projects and performance tasks—proof of their hard work and growing mastery across subjects. From research papers to creative portfolios, the display turned the lobbies into galleries of innovation.

📊 Highlight #2: Progress Report Distribution

Parents received their children’s First Quarter Report Cards, giving them a clear view of academic standing and areas for improvement. Teachers were on hand to discuss progress and offer guidance for the next quarter.

👥 Highlight #3: SPTA General Assembly

The School Parents and Teachers Association (SPTA) held its General Assembly, where updates on school programs, upcoming activities, and community initiatives were shared. The meeting strengthened the bridge between home and school.

🎁 Highlight #4: Raffle Prizes to Boost Parent Attendance

To address low turnout in past events, the school introduced a raffle draw for attending parents—adding excitement and appreciation to their involvement. Lucky winners took home practical prizes, but the real reward was deeper engagement in their child’s education.

As Tabontabon Senior High School concludes its first-ever Portfolio and Card Day, the event stands as a testament to the power of collaboration between the school, parents, and students. TABONTABON SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL IPINAGDIWANG ANG BUWAN NG WIKANG PAMBANSA 2025 “Paglinang sa Filipino at Katutubong Wika: Makasaysayan sa Pagkakaisa ng Bansa”

Sa makulay at makabuluhang pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa 2025, muling ipinamalas ng Tabontabon Senior High School ang masidhing pagmamahal sa wikang Filipino at mga katutubong wika sa temang “Paglinang sa Filipino at Katutubong Wika: Makasaysayan sa Pagkakaisa ng Bansa.”

Isa sa mga tampok na bahagi ng selebrasyon ay ang paghahanap ng Mutya ng Katutubong Kultura 2025, kung saan ipinakita ng mga kalahok ang kanilang ganda, talino, at pagpapahalaga sa kulturang Pilipino.

Sa huli, itinanghal na Mutya ng Katutubong Kultura 2025 si Bb. Cai Lhane Esoy Grade 11 Longfellow, na humakot ng papuri sa kanyang husay sa pagsasalita ng katutubong wika at pagdadala ng tradisyonal na kasuotan.

Narito ang mga nagwagi:

🏆 Mutya ng Katutubong Kultura 2025 – Grade 11 Longfellow (Cai Lhane Esoy)

🥈 1st Runner-Up – Grade 11 Frost (Rhianna Nichole Garcela)

🥉 2nd Runner-Up – Grade 12 Plato (Catrina Mae Catindoy)

🏅 3rd Runner-Up – Grade 12 Thales (Janelle Laming)

Kalahok din ang mga representante ng Grade 12-Aristotle, Grade 12 Socrates, Grade 11-Hawthorne, Grade 11-Angelou, at Grade 11-Shakespeare.

Pinangunahan ang buong selebrasyon ni Gng. Janet Abasolo, g**o sa Filipino at tagapayo ng Kapisanan ng Kabataang Maka-Filipino (KAKAMFI) na pinangungunahan ng kanilang Presidenteng si Bb Danica Tatoy katuwang ang School Head na si Bb Fe P. Tañola at ang SPTA President na si Aretas Tiozon, na buong pusong sumuporta sa mga aktibidad.

Bukod sa patimpalak, isinagawa rin ang mga talakayan, pagtatanghal, at paligsahan na nagbigay-diin sa kahalagahan ng wikang Filipino at mga katutubong wika bilang sandigan ng pagkakaisa at pagkakakilanlan ng bansa.

Sa pamamagitan ng ganitong mga aktibidad, patuloy na pinapalalim ng Tabontabon Senior High School ang kamalayan ng kabataan sa kahalagahan ng wika sa paghubog ng makabansang kamalayan—isang hakbang patungo sa mas matatag at nagkakaisang Pilipinas.
